Who's NOT buying the expansion??

I was just curious how many of you guys are NOT planning to buy the expansion pack? Do you think there will still be plenty of servers running that don't reuire the patch, or are we going to be "forced" into buying it if we want more than five servers to choose from?

We've all talked about not giving EA/Dice any more money because of the cruddy state of the original game when it was released........but how many of you are actually going to put your money where your mouth is???

Hell no im not buying it...its going to be a waste of money just like BF42:SW was and to a lesser extent BF42:R2R.

If the game does have a patch release in it...I doubt it will, and we are forced to buy it to play on more servers that is going to F-ing PI$$ me off to no end.

But I will just borrow it from someone download the Patch to my PC and give it back.

Can we get a confermation on IF BF2:SF will have a patch, and if it does will we be able to download it from else were?

thats like 3 hours work if that for most people, who cares about the EA money train, ive preordered it. more important things than money, like having fun playing SF :)

the only way i'll be getting it is if they fix bf2 and the expansion lives up to everyone elses standards, in other words... both games are made how they SHOULD have been.

cant wait to see what happens when its released and if its a piece of crap watch everyone cry about it and think about how clever the producers are to con people out of their money once again.

and if they release a patch for bf2 with the expansion and not publically release it... yeahhhhh thats lame, seems almost on the verge of being illegal.

dont let them do to you what they already did once!

I didn't originally plan on buying it but now I'm just so bored with BF2 and
I've gotten everything I wanted, I'm going to buy it just for something a little
new.
BF2 is basically the same thing everytime, nothing new or exciting, and
nothing to work towards except a rank that does absolutely nothing for me anymore
since they lowered the requirements and I have the unlocks.

I won't be. No way I could justify to my girlfriend. Might get it for Christmas though, she can't really complain then

I'm not going to buy it...but if the DC coders do a good job, I'm going to send them the $30 I would have paid for SF to support them. Down with EA...support the modders I say...

After forking over $50 for BF2 and seeing how theyre "fixing" that, EA isnt getting another dime from me. By this point after getting BF:V, MoH:PA, and BF2 and thinking, "oh, theyll fix it" only for it to never happen, Ive learned my lesson.

im 12 but i help my moms busness i get paid $500 evry 2 weeks
my dad only has to work half an hour for 30 bucks

not all of us have tons of money. Im 17 and I dont even have much of any income, let alone $250 a week

I know someone will say "get a job then" but really I dont need one. Dont spend much of the little money I get

Will be downloading it. I payed for a finished copy of BF2 and I didn't get it. I'm not about to fall into their trap again and buy the expansion. I've already provided several people with BF2 because they wanted it and I told them not to waste their money.

This is the first game I have bought that is made by ea in over 3 years. I will never be buying another game by EA again. Unless they make some copy protection program that is virtually impossible to breach. But I don't see that happening.
