This is the equipment each kit will have in special forces:
Anti-tank
Knife, pistol, submachine gun, guided anti-tank missile, grappling hook, night vision, gas mask
Assualt
Knife, pistol, assault rifle, grenade launcher, smoke grenades, flashbang grenades, grappling hook, night vision, gas mask
Engineer
Knife, pistol, shotgun, hand grenades, anti-tank mines, wrench, night vision, gas mask
Medic
Knife, pistol, assault rifle, hand grenades, health pack, shock paddles, night vision, gas mask
Sniper
Knife, pistol (silenced), sniper rifle, hand grenades, claymore mines, zipline, night vision, gas mask
Special forces
Knife, pistol (silenced), assault carbine, hand grenades, C4, zipline, night vision, gas mask
Support
Knife, pistol, light machine gun, hand grenades, ammo bag, tear gas, night vision, gas mask
So apperantly medic and engineer won't be getting any new abilities, but they're beefing up assualt and spec ops. For reasons most people will probably disagree with me on I think assualt needed SOME improvement, but SPEC OPS is getting beefed up with new abilities while ENGINEER isn't (don't get me wrong, I liked Engineer back when friendly AND enemy vehicles would run over your mines, instead of just friendlies, but now mines are totally useless). Spec ops is already considered the best kit by something like 50% of the bf2 population. I suppose it could have something to do with indoor fighting (the engineer has the shotgun which would slaughter indoors), but indoor fighting means mines and a wrench would be even LESS useful.
Anyway, I expect to see 90% of the BF2 players playing as Spec ops or assualt when SF comes out.
