heh another dreamer eh.., but then why should you care your ok and the game works fine for you so your logic is that it MUST be fine for everyone and anyone that "whinges" should be flamed and labelled lamer..., how narrow minded.

People all go on about name ANY single game that doesnt need patching.... well thats a lost attitude altogether, something we have had to learn from the gameing companies.. and now it seems its the norm to bring out a game thats buggy. What ever happened to quality over quantity? and does it make it right just because the gameing companies say so?

NO i am saying they sold 1.3 MILLION copies and less then 200 people are complaining. But yes anyone that dosent understad this should be flamed because they do WHINE like babies all the time. Like MOST OTHER PEOPLE i could play the game from day 1 with just a GFX driver change (an older version worked better) BF2 took the number 2 online FPS slot on release day and has stayed there neck and neck with HL2 since then.

so i repeat, if you can't play the game, you are either too lazy to find your OWN PC problem (not the game) or just bought it to cry about.

Just to call all the whiners bluff, as the game is unplayable to you i offer to buy it off you for 50% of the retail cost (must have reciept) this game is so popular i will sell them on at NO profit and add extra players while helping you whiners get rid of the game you HATE so much. I offer no limit to the numbers i will buy and simply request the use of a Escrow service for my security and to snsure you no longer use the CD key.

I will expect the PM's to come rolling in, after all you would have NO CREDIBILTY if you kept the game you whine about so much. We shall wait and see how many i get offered.

If you are trying to compare console games to PC games I think we may have found the error....It's a ID ten T error...

How can you compare a console game to a PC game...My friggin video card costs twice as much as the current generation consoles and alone it is as powerful as the next gen of consoles... Now also keep in mind that consoles are proprietary in nature therefore devs don’t have to make software that work for every make and brand of Mother Board, Hard Drive, Graphics card, Sound card, Processor, Ram, etc. etc.

I’m a firm believer that your problems are stemming from a major ID ten T error and that correcting this may prove to be a daunting task... You may want to do some serious research and possibly enroll in some continuing education classes.

Yes. I can definitely tell you that EA is NOT going to be sued, that the BBB is NOT going to do anything about it, and that EA is going to go on its merry way.

Face it - you don't have the power to do anything here, because you ain't Wal-Mart. So you're stuck with bringing real evidence of an intent to deceive, and real harm suffered by the purchasers.

So where's your harm? If you're going to be serious about this, then BE SERIOUS. Show the case meets the criteria required to get a case even heard, let alone decided in your favor.

Otherwise, you're just blowing hot air around.

That's all I need to know -- that the absolutely vast majority of complainers along this stripe (the "EA ripped us off omg omg omg" breed) will never ever ever get beyond the whine (or whinge, if you prefer) stage. They will keep posting the same stupid sh*t they've always posted, without bothering to inform themselves about the law.

I've seen this exact same "reasoning" (and I'm being generous when I use the term) over other games, times beyond number. And you know what? I can't name a single lawsuit that was brought against a company in these circumstances, and I bet noone else can either -- let alone one that was won by the plaintiff(s).

So complain all you like. But I want to ask you all who allege bad faith by EA: how many of you have actually researched the law?

The whiners always end the same way, change thier story at the last minute OR can't be assed to look up there own proof. The sales figures are all widley available, public financial reports are legally required every year. Simply count the unique users that are moaning if you weant proof for the 200 number. there are 5 in this thread and suprise suprise they have many other whining threads to thier names as well :laugh:

Calling thier bluffs always works, this idiot has gone from typing about how bad/eveil the game and EA are, to actually saying he reall;y enjoys it and wouldn't sell it even when directly offered cash $$

You still didnt provide any cold hard legal facts like you appear to know so much about, just opinion. The only way for gamers to take on companies liek this is not to follow them like sheep and hand over the cash blindly, but thats not going to happen because its a "I want everything now (doesnt matter if its not right)" society.

I say all those who do not like the game leave, it opens slots for me to play on servers. Maybe its your hardware, I do not have 1/2 the problems you all tak about. I get the boot to desktop once in a while and the red tag bug but hey, the game is overall the best fps on hte market and the most fun to play. So once again, if you dont like it, move on, there nothing to see here.

Amen. I get sick of these kids around here going on and on about how this game sucks but I know about 60 people who play this game.. all of which don't have a single problem with it. The people complaining either have hardware deficiencies, or just simply suck at it and think the only way they can redeem themselves is by complaining on the TotalBF2 forums. As people here have stated, THIS IS THE BEST MULTIPLAYER GAME ANY OF US HAVE PLAYED. I really would hate to see other game forums.. because if people can call this game bad then those other games must have even worse problems with whiners.

Yeah we got Mr. Logic and Mr. Realistic here both of which have yet to put up any sort of logical case towards there complaint... I have yet to see anything other then some people bitching that the game didnt meat there dreams...

If the kids here dont want to read a few posts, I will sum it up for you, and please think about it for 5 sec. before you act. As I have said: I love this game, but it could've been so much better. EA has advertised and is STILL advertising extras in this game that are NOT even available. That is consumer deception. EA is withholding SP1 COOP bot pathing and other misc. tools. My game runs fine! But if anyone wrote down a dozen things you dont like about the game, or that you think is wrong, i bet half of those are other peoples issue's too. EA is not listening, does that sound like community support?
