That's everyones opinion, I like BF2 currently best, but it doesn't mean it's THE best game, since that game doesn't exist. It's an opinion and for me BF2 is the best, but that's personal.

You are the one being negative about this game and it's problems, we are the ones looking positive and realistic against it. But go ahead it your "mission" .

Re: Will you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau?

Just a few things to get everyone up to speed- These are ad's for the game that are currently STILL advertised:

Here is what the sites of different stores say about the features of BF2 (False/misleading).

EA games: Take control of over 30 land, sea, and air vehicles, including tanks, helicopters, hovercraft , fast attack vehicles, and fighter jets.

Full in-game community support including, buddy lists , stat tracking, live chat rooms , and in-game clan creation .

              WalMart:http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=3308534

Gamestop: Take control of over 30 land, sea, and air vehicles, including tanks, helicopters, hovercraft, fast attack vehicles, and fighter jets.
              http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=645768

Full in-game community support including, buddy lists , stat tracking, live chat rooms , and in-game clan creation .

Circuitcity: Take control of over 30 land, sea, and air vehicles, including tanks, helicopters, hovercraft , fast attack vehicles, and fighter jets.

Full in-game community support including, buddy lists , stat tracking, live chat rooms , and in-game clan creation .

              EB Games:http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/243162.asp

And here is a biggie from Kmart.

Armed with the latest weaponry, players can take control of any of the game's 30+ vehicles to engage in major conflicts with over 100 players in some of the largest online battles on the PC. And Walmart also says
Online multiplayer action with 100+ players on the PC.

And they both talk about the clan creation and such as the other stores. Also still posted are screenshots that aren't even one of the maps we received w/ the game.

As consumer's that have already purchased the game, it's our responsibility to ensure that this wont continue by simply complaining to a higher power. I have sent e-mail's to EA and participated in there poll's and to no avail.

I love this game, but there are too many unfinished things with this product. I paid 50 bucks when this this came out, and i still dont feel like i got my money's worth. Especially after upgrading to better hardware so i could run the game the way it's meant to be played. I needed to upgrade anyway, at some point, but when it's specifically for this game.........

If a car maufacturer advertised a car to be sold in a month, and released videos of the car in action and all the extra's it comes with. When that car is delivered, with one seat, and you have to put the engine together. That is not a finished product. So you complain to the car manufacturer, and they say they will fix the problems. The next day you see the same manufacturer releasing a newer version of your car in a month, with bigger and better options (as is the case w/ the expansion). But you still dont have your seat's and your almost done putting together the engine (EXCEPT you need a wrench that is only offered from the manufacturer and they wont give it to you-as is the case w/ the bot pathing tools) Yeah, it's not right, and people should stand up for themselves any way they can.

For the most part, I have no crashing issues w/ this game, but there are people who do! Releasing an expansion pack while there are still issues to be addressed is the wrong thing to do.

1.2 million people have purchased this game and play online, over 3000 ranked servers they must have done something right. That sounds like 50 million dollars.

As far as myself, I find it increasingly obvious that EA is not going to do anything about the issues. I gave it 3 months for patches that really dont do anything. I'm simply giving people a door to make a complaint against a company that doesn't care. The fact alone that they didn't revise the advertising after they realized they couldn't or wouldn't be able to provide what was promised is truth alone. The general public (consumers) were deceived by advertising, that is still advertised, about items that were never produced in the finished product. Issues within the game are never addressed. Tools that were promised to the community were never given.

Ok, I stand corrected. Five people care about your crusade. Five. Five out of some 700,000 registered Battlefield 2 accounts. Thanks for making a difference, and spamming up the forum with flame bait.

Yeah, maybe there's some misleading information. Sometime my game dumps to the desktop for some unexplained reason. But have I ever owned a game that is perfect? I don't think so... Hell, this one time I played like 3/4 of the way through QfG4 and one of the triggerable events didn't happen. Had to play through from the beginning. Did I get my panties in a bunch and tell people to call the BBB? No... because you gotta pick your fights. The fact that you are this worked up over what would appear to most to be minor defects is really amusing to me.

Good luck though. Like I said, at least you can feel good about making a difference.

Ultimatly we are on your side ffs!!.., dont you want the game fixed as it should be? Dont you want your moneys worth? dont you want the features you were sold? for that matter dont you want it to be supported anymore?

The most famous of all EA quotes.....,

"EA Games ...., Challenge Everything" <-- more than you know eh

BBB won't do anything unless they see a FORMAL complaint submitted to them by a LAWYER (this is only true when submitting complaints ONLINE).

Thats not true, EA will still get a negative check against, they still have to open up a line of communication between myself and EA. EA has to make an effort to remedy the situation, that's part of being a member of the BBB.

I say all those who do not like the game leave, it opens slots for me to play on servers. Maybe its your hardware, I do not have 1/2 the problems you all tak about. I get the boot to desktop once in a while and the red tag bug but hey, the game is overall the best fps on hte market and the most fun to play. So once again, if you dont like it, move on, there nothing to see here.

Well I haven't seen them here asking people to write their congressmen, etc about BF2.

I want the game to be fixed too, believe me. I just don't want a bunch of crackpots representing my interests.

There's no "g" in "whine" either.

Apparently people who post "If you dont like it, leave!" Dont read the post's before he/she posts, or is ignorant to the facts at hand. Which is it? Last time i checked, we can do what we think is appropriate to make things happen.

So I say to you "If you dont like the post's on this thread, I encourage you to leave!"

I dont like the fact that the US Gov. isnt doing anything about immigration, but I'm not moving to Canada. I'm gonna go to Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico and participate with the border patrol(who badly underpowered) in spotting crossers.

So if your not gonna post something intelligent, keep your thoughts to yourself. If your game is fine, good for you!

You aren't being a realist in any sense what so ever. If anything, anyone saying this game is fine are the dreamers, because they are lying to themselves. We are those seeing what is real, we are the ones being realists. We see problems, we see lies hidden as advertisements, we see a game that is hyped beyond all belief but doesn't meet the norm for hardware compatibility or in efficiency of using the hardware it does work with or even meet the promises made by those who made the game itself.

Dreamers think the game is perfect, because that's all that notion is: a dream.
