I installed and played Lost Coast yesterday !!!!!!
But i did a system restore earlier today 3 days back and that didn't help.
Have you launched steam at all since the system restore? Just wonder if there was an update. I didn't play Lost Coast yesterday, but I may have launched steam at some point yesterday, and it may have updated.
Well got rid of Lost coast and all steam half life stuff css etc played Bf2 for a bit then map change WHAM reboot. Didnt really think it would work but I am wondering weather it has anything to do with the HDR used in lost coast changing anything in my system: I dont really know enough about computers maybe someone could say if this is possible. Are the most with this problem ATI card owners in particular the X800 series coz noone in the clan is having any problems after Lost Coast Instal??
The danish, norwegian ...... forum threads i've been reading shows no evidence that ATI is the sinner here. Several people with 6600/6800 has the same problem.
I´ve been having both freezes and reboots it seams I can sometimes get online for a while but when the map changes or restarts then wham no more game weather its a freeze or a reboot or once a blue screen with nothing on it??
