Bottom line...EA really didnt do anything wrong.... Much of this stuff they talked about was "IDEAS" that where in pre-production not post-production... Plus I garuntee you that EA has a huge legal staff that writes up all there fine print so that these types of things can not happen...

No one is going to court or sueing or anything like that. You dont have to do that to get your point acroos for a product you already own, this is to keep big business' from getting lazy on realeasing unfinished product's. And yes, boycotting does work to an extent. There are always new customer's who will buy though.

Well those so called ideas are being posted on many retail store sites in the features area of the game. So to people who have not played the game before will think those features are in the game but are not.

Donkey face it were going to beat you each time with logic, laws, and straight up facts.

I'm not suprised by this in the least. EA is a notoriously bad company to work for. It's a running gag that 95% of development houses are started by EX-EA employees. Why? Because they don't apresiate talent.

EA has simply become too big for it's own good. It's now a Corperation instead of a gamers shop. They've got some nasty coruption going on too. The place is rife with nepatizem, brown nosers, and paper shufflers.

FYI, EA Legal employs more people than they do for any particular game project.

You are right! For "their" finished product they didnt do anything wrong. But, as The Question brought to everyones attention, MANY retail store's advertised MANY things that were not in the game. Now, most stores do not advertise products for the seller, the seller (EA games) writes these advertisements for the retail stores. It is not the responsibility of the store to advertise its merchandise, its their choice to advertise with whats given them (as far as info).

Eww... I just read that. Funny thing is that I wanted to work for them so badly. But after that I'm sure not getting another EA/Dice product ever again. I would not be shocked if all the companies that say Family blah blah beat their workers with a whip and not when it was sexual.

Trust me, you don't want to be in the Games Industy.
Unfortunatly, EA is only one of several fat cat big companies that suck the life's blood out of game developers.

The industry as a whole is following the Holywood model. Lots of money, but in very few hands. Trying to maintain involvment is like being a strugling actor... you spend a lot of time either hungry or doing other jobs while waiting for a break.

However, as with Holywood, the situation was un-avoidable. With gamers demanding more and more, the cost of production has gone through the roof. It now costs mega-bucks to do ANYTHING worth while. This makes it virtually impossible for startup companies to get anywhere.

Who's fault is that?
Well... it would be ours, as consumers.

You still are going to be hard pressed to say that it was false advertising...especially since you yourself have logged so many hours playing the game...One would argue that you did in fact get your moneys worth...

And how the hell did patch 1.03 make it so you can't play the game????

Face it this game is amazing albeit it doesn’t offer everything, it offers most of all that is said especially on the products packaging itself. All I'm saying is that it is going to be impossible to prove your point and if you did every single used car dealership in the great North American content would be forced to close its doors. Most all products would have to be yanked form shelves and most businesses would have to close there doors...EA did not trick you into buying their product and if it did then why do you play it so much????
