Lies and straight up wtfs I question.. Stand on the wings of a bomber in flight. Not gonna happen. The result was that people didn’t really care about the size of the map as long as it was balanced. BS I care about both of those. More destruction in the environment. If you count a bridge, and some oil cans then yes... Battlefield TV, Have yet to see it.

And Donkey you ever thought I was trying to get all I could out of this crappy game? Just because its crap does not mean I don't want to get some use out of it.

Re: Has EA broken any consumer protection laws?

Just because we have issues w/ the game doesnt mean we dont like it. I love this game! But it could be sooooo much better if they actually fixed the issues, and gave us what they said they would. This game would be unstoppable as far as longevity, but they choose to release an unfinshed product, and mask it all with an expansion. The fact that we are discussing this in forum and actually doing something, is better than growing tired of the game and taking it. I'm 31 and i choose to stand up for myself when i feel taken advantage of. It is not right that a company can release an unfinished product, even though it works, and can continue on down the money path without anybody saying anything.

Sorry but I just disagree with you...The game isnt a POS and when you talk about destructable enviroments it just physically can not be done yet with the current internet we have...It is a very complex thing...

I really dont get what you say is not in the game...

The game is an arcade game ment for fun some of you take it like it was suppose to be the dawn of a new era a whole new culture...its none of this its a VIDEO GAME...Perhapes maybe you your self built it up to much in your heads and where therefore dissapointed when you actually played the game...It happens all the time...

But honestly I'm willing to bet that the majority of the gaming world will disagree with you on this...all though it is fun and nice to bash big business and I do not side with them, I just feel you are all being a little ridiculous...

Re: Has EA broken any consumer protection laws?

No I don't love the game now due to the punish, the teamkills for things not caused by you, how nobody tries to use teamwork even when it is badly needed.

But it really gets to me how EA can lie so much about the patches and the feathes that were supposed to be released at the launch of the game. If EA said that they were bringing these out in a new patch it would be too late due to the fact that they were stated for release at the start not as an add on.

And to try to get our attention off the important problems by throwing us a map and favorite servers.

Its a well known fact EA treats thier employees like utter crap, they sued them for not paying them for working overtime, which they said they did weekly, and gave them horrible hours. Basicly they sued over rights to be treated like a human and not a robot.

Re: Has EA broken any consumer protection laws?

The Question- So let me get this straight... you can't afford to make a phone call to Sweden, but somehow you have the capital to bring a case against the largest publisher of video games in the world? HUH? You haven't even said what your case is, so as far as I'm concerned (or anyone on this forum who isn't a mindless lemming), your just blowing smoke. Do you even realize what it would cost to take this to trial? Even if you won the initial claim, EA would surely appeal. And if you lost in Appelate Court, you would be strapped with all of EA's court fees from both the Appelate Court and the District Court where your case was originally heard.

Also, for anyone concerned, I dug this up on the Lanham Act regarding false represenation of products:

§1125. False designations of origin and false descriptions forbidden
                                (a)
                                Civil action.

                                (1)
Any person who, on or in connection with any goods or services, or any container for goods, uses in commerce any word, term, name, symbol, or device, or any combination thereof, or any false designation of origin, false or misleading description of fact, or false or misleading representation of fact, which--

                                (A)
is likely to cause confusion, or to cause mistake, or to deceive as to the affiliation, connection, or association of such person with another person, or as to the origin, sponsorship, or approval of his or her goods, services, or commercial activities by another person, or
                                (B)
in commercial advertising or promotion, misrepresents the nature, characteristics, qualities, or geographic origin of his or her or another person's goods, services, or commercial activities, shall be liable in a civil action by any person who believes that he or she is or is likely to be damaged by such act.

                                (2)
As used in this subsection, the term "any person" includes any State, instrumentality of a State or employee of a State or instrumentality of a State acting in his or her official capacity. Any State, and any such instrumentality, officer, or employee, shall be subject to the provisions of this Act in the same manner and to the same extent as any nongovernmental entity.

                                (3)
In a civil action for trade dress infringement under this Act for trade dress not registered on the principal register, the person who asserts trade dress protection has the burden of proving that the matter sought to be protected is not functional.
