To Saureco, that was a very nice post and definately needed to be said. The attitude you describe always amazes me too. I mean, if I buy a product I believe I have the right to **** all over it when I'm not satisfied. However when I am using something for free that others have put hours of their labor into then I won't say anything if I can't say anything nice. Basic manners really. Just damn ungrateful if you ask me.Comment

That's just common courtesy. I think a lot of sportsmanship has been lost over the years, whether in real life field sports or online games. To make matters worse, we have this whole generation of spoiling parents that would rather give their kids everything to prevent the kids from "hating" them. Sorry, but my parents didn't give me everything I wanted, and I turned out just fine. I bitch and complain about stuff some time, but I only have myself to blame for not coping.
As for the "I paid money for this, you owe me" mentality, it's kind of a grey area. However, any company will defend itself with NDAs and EULAs. The common part about both of those is the A for agreement. We agreed to accept the installation of this game. That, however, is where I think the game companies make us suckers. We have to pay before we even get to see the kind of agreement we're walking into. I think that if there would ever be a case against gaming companies it's that they should provide the EULA before you pay for the game. We'll see how their profits do after that.
I digress.
If you want to try the mod, go ahead. If you don't like it, just uninstall and stfu. If you don't want to try the mod, just hit that little button in the upper left that says "Back". Peace.Comment

hmmm.. i got a question regarding the mod... if i uninstall it, does it leave crap like registry files or wateva on my computer?
i'm gonna download this and give it a go 2morrow.
Also, i saw an aussie server for the mod but no-one was playing it... actually the only server i found playing this mod was 23 players in a 24 player server in sweden... thats gonna be a crappy ping i'm gonna get if thats the only server i can play in with players in it.Comment

^ I certainly don't connect to Sweeden when I play! I'm guessing the servers I join are in the US. There are actually quite a few now. From Japan I end up with pings around 200 usually. As PRMM reduces the "twitch factor" considerably, I really don't find that kind of ping to be too bad. I did notice on the PR forums that there is another Aussie server up now too. Here's the post =

I missed this in your last post. It doesn't contain spyware or anything like that and the uninstall will completely remove it. It will in no way harm your computer or effect your ability to play regular BF2 (except for the fact you will not want to after playing this mod), it's free and it's awesome. Yup... it uninstalled just fine.
I desided to give it a shot, but in my personal opinion this mod sacrafices too much fun in the name of realism.
This isn't a bash against the mod or the guys that made it. Just a comment to the effect that some folks simply ain't gonna like it.
Good Job anyway.

Most definately and that's one of the best things about mods. For me, I find the added realism to be more realistic AND more fun. Wargimp here obviously doesn't and will enjoy a different kind of mod. Now we're both happy and everyone wins.Originally posted by Wargimp
