It is definitly Arabic and I will be glad to translate anything you want!

However, bewarned that they made a lot of mistakes in the translation and sometimes it is very annoying if you understand what they said.

For example:
-"Get in" is translated in arabic as "get the car in" something like put the car in the garage!
-"The enemy is in control" is translated exactly the opposite!
-"enemy units on the ground" translation is litral translation. for the first time when you hear it you think that the enemy is killed on the road!


There are countless errors in the arabic translation. I wonder how they did in the chinese translation!

I can keep counting if you like!

for grenades they use these:
1. Kunbula
2.Tama ilkaa kunbula

when dead on the ground and requesting a medic
1.Ayna il musiif

as for "allah haza mocha" its actualy Ihjom ila haza almawka.. it means.. "attack this position"

I' an Arab, the language is arabic just to confirm that, and its understandable not like others say here that is not.

The english is easy as well.....as for the Chiniese I have no idea what their saying.... it's like codes or somthin....

You know what! "shokran iyoha albatal" and "thalik gair momkin" make me smile always when I hear them in the game. one of my friends always tries to help and tells me on VOIP "you did not say shokran iyha albatal!" but they will never beat "hada howa" in DesertCombat

Thanks guys. This stuff is great.

I am an English speaker and enjoy the exposure that BF1942 and BF2 provide to foreign languages. I don't expect to ever have a real conversation with this stuff. However, in time, I will be able to play the game and not need to look at the text to know what they said.

One of the ones I mentioned earlier was not "translated". It comes sometimes after a flag is captured. It is rather lengthy and the last thing the guy says sounds like "attack the freighter". Phonetically, it would look like "ah-tack da fray-tur".

Any idea what I am referring to?

-Here is some of the commander messages regarding capturing/losing flags. Hopefully it is what you want:

-lakad istawla al adaa ala ihda annikat = the enemy has taken an outpost

-tamakkanna min assaytarah ala al adaa, tabi'o bijohd akbar ayoha al jonood = the enemy is in control work harder solders (your team is bleeding tickets) (wrong translation! means exactly the oppisite!)

-innana naksaro al ma'rakah, ibda alkital wa illa idtararto li ijad shakain gaderin ala al kital = we are losing this battle, start fighting or I will find someone who can

-ista'adna alsaytarah, ahsantom = control restored, well done!

-ista'adna alsaytarah mojaddadan, amalon jaeid ayoha rijal = we regained control, good work men! (ticket bleeding stopped)

-innana naksar alkatheer min alrijal yomnatan wa yosrah, hal tasma'oni = we are losing men left and right, do you copy?

-tazizatona ala washak annafad = we are running low on reinforcements

-ladaina kasaeir katherah, 7awwil = we are taking casualities, over!

-ad'afa al adaa mawaqi mohimmah, 7awwil = enemy weakening keep positions, over

-tamma masih al mantikah wa hia tahta assaytarah = position cleard and under control

-tamma masih jamee'i almanatik, almawki tahata alsaytarah, intaha = all clear, position under control
