Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
this would be a good mod, but I like BF2 just for the fun not the gore, if I want a gorey game ill go play Postal2hehe, but all the best with making this mod

i think the reason they turned the "puffs" grey in vanilla is so they could keep it at a certain rating... showing blood notches it up a rung AFAIK... thus meaning less potential sales for EA... thus meaning, well i dont think its going to be in a patch anytime soon i'm afraid. i think all the good mods should integrate blood ayatems... the dude who develops a way to break up the player model ingame will be a god to me lol imagine the possibilities
Ok just to straighten things up here since alot of gamers out there seem to be non-coders. Yes anything is possible in a game. It all comes down to messing with the code of the gamne. I do recall when BF1942 was out everyone said it was impossible to implement a blood patch on the source...but hey it was done. As far as the coding goes for burn marks and bullet holes in BF2 blood stains can be put into the code. Anything can be put into the coding of any game. But for those of you that say it cant be done go to the library and read up on source coding, VB,delphi, pascal, and c++. Then come and talk about what you can code into something and what you cannot code. Plus heres another little thing to think about. Those of you that say nothing can be coded in this game or very little can be coded well how can the hacks work for this game you would think since the coding is so restrictive in BF2 hacks cant be implemented or anything. Well im guessing some coders found ways around the source code and found ways to exploit the code.
Oh and guess what every patch you download that DICE puts out...guess what all of those patches are doing is re-doing the source code in the game. So hmmm if DICE or EA can go back in and revert a source code that you say is so protective in what you can do with it then any coder can go in and modify files the way they want too. Any of you that would love to debate this issue with me please feel free to pm me and we will have a good conversation on coding and source codes. Im not trying to make anyone mad with this post just stating the facts and making sure everyone has the truth about coding in the form of BF2. And if I had the time to code this blood patch I would. And alot of what people said in this thread yes it would take alot of time to implement this.
Now onto another subject at hand....
For those of you that said ewww guts and blood. Well think about it. You are playing a game where the main objective is to fill your enemy with bullet holes. hmmm... Think about that for a second.
You say eww to blood and brains and everything else to implement into BF2. Basically by you saying eww to that stuff is basically like saying you dont play BF2 to go and kill your enemy, you try to avoid people and just take flags. So as far as all of you gamers out there that go and say eww to blood and everything next time you shoot someone in BF2 just think that just sick and as violent as seeing the blood and guts and stuff. Thats all I got to say about this topic at hand for now. There is several other issues about this coding you all would need to know but lets just dwell on these facts at hand.
