Can a Sniper REALLY take out a pilot in ONE SHOT?

So can it be done?
Can a sniper really take out say....a pilot in a flying chopper or even a plane?
But all in one shot?

Please say yes. And if so, when has it been done? :|:

if you are lucky to hit him at speed, Yes its posibole. but you have to use th M95...

If just hovering chopper of jet, you have a very good chance of killing the pilot with M95. If the jet or chopper is moving though, techincally it still could be done, but you would have just as much chance of hitting as if you try to snipe someone on land from the carrier.

It is possible to kill pilots in jets/choppers when they are moving though, grab a jet, shoot that BH's front window with your main gun, sometimes you can kill both pilot and co-pilot without blowing up the chopper. I also managed to kill a jet pilot in the cabin when chasing it, but that only a happened once, got very luckey.

I have indeed killed both pilot and copiolot of an attack chopper while in one myself as gunner by aiming at cockpit and letting loose so I know they are gettable as it were.

Looks like I'll be sniping near helipdas tonight for a bit then. :)

Last week I got myself a BH pilot with a head shot while he hovered and took the flag. Luckily his entire squad dismounted to help him. Instant 5 kills lmao.

I have done it probably a couple dozen times, but for each pilot/gunner I have sniped successfully, I would say there has been about 20-30 attempts that failed.

Before the 1.03 patch i'd never managed to hit anyone in a helo or plane with my M95. Since its release its pretty easy to kill a chopper pilot and gunner, still haven't managed it on a plane yet though.

Nice feeling to take out a chopper crew trying to cap or protect a flag. Also pays to keep an eye on enemy helo pads as they tend to come on, spin the helo around, and give you a nice shot while repairing.

Last night I sniped the BH pilot while he was unloading 1 guy on a roof & then I sniped the guy on the roof. LOL the chopper was stuck on the roof for awhile.

Yes, with the M95

I have done it twice. :

1.
I suspect the pilot was heavily injured allready, Or I was the luckiest bastard there....

The pilot saw me (I was taking potshots at the helo)... he was comming to kill me with all 14 missiles.. I shot of 1 shot (in his general direction)... no mssiles.. he died and chopper chrashed

He was hovering 50 m away, capping a flag... line up a shot.. BOOM-Headshot

I fired my AT rocket into a black hawk that was hovring at the flag. Didn't hurt a single guy. So I fired at the open cockpit for the pilot. Again, didn't kill him.

On one of the few times I fly a chopper, I get sniped at 500 metres while taking evasive action from the chopper on my arse.

Go figure.

Yes with the M95 you can take out a pilot in one shot i have done it a few times

I have sniped helly pilots before its best when there hovering over a flag.
And the best bit is if there is a passenger or passengers, just snipe the pilot LOL.

i take out chopper pilots and co-pilots all the time, but mainly when they're hovering or moving slowly, or coming directly at me. jets, never when they're flying, only on take-off.
