get 2gigs of ram, 1gig isent enough unless you want to run medium settings on your two 7800 gtx's, you would need 2gigs on any video card(s) to run bf2 at high settings

Yes, it's cheaper, and can be faster. He's not going to need to upgrade any further, nor will he want to OC the ram, therefore, 4x512 would be the better choice.

The thing is... those are the best prices i could find. Anywhere. I even went to fry's electronics with prices higher than those (got em from newegg to be honest) and they told me that those were the prices that they buy their stuff. The case i think i'm gona go for a full tower 500 watt, from fry's, a lil more pricy, but it could fit a microwave inside of it. Or a mini-midgit...
But really you were able to run bf2 on high settings on a GeForce Nvidia 5200 FX?! They dont even SELL em anymore! I have great pride in my piece of crap, but it is a piece of crap. It even thinks it has 2 OS on it at the moment. Bad reformat job, but it still runs!
But nyways, the hardware i found seems to be some of the best, and i dont wana put 4x512 when i could go 2 x 1gig, besides, i could upgrade later a gig at a time.
And the hardware from Ebay isn't used, mostly surplus from shipments that didn't make it, ect.
