I find all the different answers, and reasons for those answers, to be quite interesting. It's neat to see how differently people view this aspect of the game.

No, and people who do should have their computer burnt. :)

Never done it nor will I ever.

Any jackass that thinsk they "deserve" an object cause there better then someone else with it is a jerk.
Its a game, everyoen deserves a turn even if there bad at it.
your not saving the world with your brilliant pilot skills, your playing a game.

Also there is no way for a person to learn how to "really" fly on single player. If they crash, then theres your chance to get the Jet/Heli...they had there chance.

Cant some of you people understand its a game, take turns...there isnt 2 vehicles or types of combat to engage.

I will tho throw a few shots in a car or such if it leaves me behind, to get attention.

To sum it up, i will never TK over a vehicle, theres to many other things in-game to do then claim property or claim my importance of using a vehicle.
I know no matter what its a game and I want to have as much fun as everyone else.
People that TK are griefers, plain in simple. They tend to forget its a game and everyone deserves to fly/bomb/crash etc...

Re: TKing for a vehicle: do you do it?

Earlier today i was practicing my new joystick out flying one of those chinese maps and im sitting there waiting for the plane to respawn and another guy walks up to where im at and stands there, obviously waiting to get the plane. Now, in the back of my head i know this isnt going to end well, but i start mashing the "E" key anyway, so when it spawns i can get in it. Sure enough, i win and appear in the pilots seat. Then i take off and think to myself, wow, he didn't tk me. A second after i thought that i get tked by him with C4. Ya i was agitated, but all i did was vote kick him and decide to play on foot, like i always do. Oh well i say, if some punk kid wants it that bad, then fine take it, i'll try to get my air service ribbon on a different day.

TK´s are never justified , and if everyone tought and acted accordingly , this game would be a better experience for everyone .

If he doesn't like it, he can punish. If I was afraid of the -6, I wouldn't have TKed him in the first place. Instances such as the one above I would gladly sacrifice 6 points for.

And you have no right going around calling people names. I recommend you do a nice search for my posts and get an idea of who I am before you start pointing fingers.

You, my friend, tend to have a very negative attitude, make short posts that detract from the original point of the thread, and are a negative contribution to this community, in my eyes. Of course, I would keep that to myself usually, out of respect, but obviously that word means nothing to you.

Listen to yourself never before have i heard such a load arrogant crap who the hell do you think you are? In fact don't answer that because nobody gives a ****.

If you deliberately TK for a vehicle which you have openly admitted too then your a fool and should be banned by punkbuster from this game and all other PB enabled games.

Tking for a vehicle is such a low tactic. I am a chopper whore, and can often turn the tide of a battle in the chopper but that doesn't make it mine. If I am beaten to the heli, I just jump in a buggy and steam towards a flag to help the team. I must admit it is frustrating when someone who is not very good takes it, but I have no right take their fun away to enhance mine. Even if I do get stuck with a lousy gunner, I just give him some pointers, or just start killing stuff with my rockets. If me and my squad mate are tearing it up in a chopper and someone else beats one of us to it, so be it. I will ask them if they would be willing to give up their spot for my squadie. You'll be surprised, because most people are willing to. Kindness will always beat out an M95 round to the head. Also, if you are great in the helo, most teams want you flying it.
