Just because people agree with each other does not mean that they are sheep. It means they share the same opinion. Sure, there may be some in there along for the ride, but on the whole people are allowed to agree with each other.

Agreed. There's only one way for people to improve and that is to actually pilot the aircraft in battle situations.

We've all paid the same money to play the game so we all should be entitled to crash and helicopter when we are learning how to fly it.

People who TK for a vehicle should be sent to a sin bin. Or kicked and banned for an hour or so.

They spoil the game far more than a newbie wanting to have FUN

Re: TKing for a vehicle: do you do it?

For over about the first 300 hours I never TK'd anyone for the vehicle. Then came an 455h0l3 while we were using the heli with a mate(we were on TS). He came to the helipad, and took the pilot seat. I said (in myself) heck, he has the right to be a pilot too, so I jumped in the FAV, and drove away. Suddenly he and my gunner is no more. He was a real 3seconder. I told him: "please let me fly, I can". He did not answer, but took the pilot seat again. 5 seconds this time.(without the gunner) For the third time I shot him with cold blood, without remorse and hesitation. After about 5 minutes (we took down a hellotta enemy vehicles, and got rammed by a jet) there is is again, I mean he was waiting 5 minutes at the helipad, hell, I shot him again.
After that incident I don't feel guilty for killing a teammate who is hurting the team with taking away vehicles without knowing how to use them. My reason is: they should practice in singleplayer, or when noone wants to use that vehicle.

You're right. There is nothing funnier than watching some s****y dude swear/shoot/yell at you to give him "his damn helicopter" only to see him wrap it around the nearest bit of scenary seconds later.

** EDIT** : It censored the w. word out of the middle of that word which was perfectly acceptable... oh well

if there is someone being a consistant *******, consistantly killing a perfectly good vehicle, killing YOU for a vehicle, THEY DESERVE TO BE SHOT. period.

it is not selfishness, it is not arrogance. score dictates whethere someone sucks or not.

i say they change vehicle priority, to the people with the highest rank, just like commander. hell, only the best get to fly it in the real marines, why not in bf2.

              Rhohan,

Why not set up highest ranked only servers - so the elitists can just go and 'play with themselves'?

Why not force EA to set up dedicated servers as these people are clearly extremely important?

I'd love to see things from your point of view - but there's only so much room up your backside. Learn the meaning of the words game and fun.

Wow, Murt. That is a great idea. And they could make videos for the rest of us noobs to watch and gasp at. And heck, why don't we start paying them also, as they are clearly superior to the rest of us. It is their RIGHT to be paid well, and to get the vehicles of their choice. Unknown to us, they must have paid thousands of dollars to buy their copy, instead of the measly 50 bucks the rest of us paid, so yes, of course it is their right to do anything they darn well please.

Re: TKing for a vehicle: do you do it?

nope, never TKed or stood in front of a vehicle, if someone does it to me I start a votekick global chat whats going on and have a laugh as they go WTF as they get kicked. There have been times when ive launched an M203 into a vehicle to hurt it a bit so they dont last as long, but thats only if they TKed me for it. Theres 2 funny stories of some idiots. One was i got to the F-35 JSF on the carrier, and some guy put C4 on it, blew me up but the wreckage of the plane fell and landed on him :). Another was i was owning sharqi with my friend in the MEC Chopper, and some guy beat him to it, and so he's like let me fly so i said ok let him fly since i didnt want to fly without my friend (googletalk together), he crashes in 5 seconds, comes back i get the pilot seat he gets gunner, he keeps going let me fly let me fly, so i keep going back to the base to reload, my friend shoots at his cockpit with his L85 (which does no damage) and then the idiot TKs my friend, my friend punishes, we do this 3 times till he got kicked, that was fun

This is whats wrong with this game.. kiddies fighting over jets
and choppers while the rest of us try to actually win..

and for the person who says he just starts a kick vote and then laughs
when they get kicked.... good luck... I havent seen but a couple
sucessful votes on ANYTHING in BF2 since it came out..

the voting in BF2 is a disgrace.. thought it was supposed to be fixed
with 1.03 but I guess not... oh well, another 4 months for that patch..

I don't do it, if you caught doing it on our server...................... you'll get the boot. Definitely tk'ing an admin for a vechile will get the boot alot faster. Tho I have done it a few times on other server(s)meaning I'll return the favor.

It's sort of funny tho 90 % of the time the guy that tks you is back respawning in a matter of minutes cuz he got his 1. Arse handed to him or 2. Crashed the plane because he doesnt know how to fly or flew into the side of a mountian ect
