Re: TKing for a vehicle: do you do it?

I almost never TK for vehicles, only if someone keeps crashing with a jet/chopper immediately after taking of, and immediately takes the jet/chopper again when he respawns.
Then my M95 will make a nice hole in his head :).

        I stay away from aircraft.

Tried the helicopter on single player - flew it backwards into the same place on the same cooling tower 5 times and realised to my dismay that my flying days were over.

But this thread has steeled my resolve - If there are brave people out there trying to get the hang of those crazy machines whilst under fire from both sides, then it is my intention - no - my DUTY, to join the 3-seconders! (average flight time)

Let me at that big bird. You in the back - I wouldn't bother with that seat belt, and if you see me sailing past the window, you're about to undergo terminally rapid deceleration.

        murt.

i do it on occasion its fun to do sometimes. im the type of guy who will hold the door open for the guy behind him. its nice to let loose once in a while and kill some team mates especially for a vehicle to get your way

No, it makes it YOUR right to gun for him. ESPECIALLY if you are on TS with him. Non-communicating pilot/gunner are about as useful as moldy bread compared to a two guys workign together on TS or vent.

You must have figured it out by now, but if not...

In your Heli controls, there's a Invert Mouse checkbox... try putting a check in there and try the heli again...

Re: TKing for a vehicle: do you do it?

One of the worst things about BF2 is people being overly eager to punish for TKs. Like say you are firing at an enemy with any sort of rocket or missle and they die because the enemy moved or the missle just plain missed. They always go to punish. I myself only punish if I know 100% that the player killed me on purpose (like C4ing me to get a jet, bitches LOL).

heard that but i made it a personal rule not to punish no matter what.dont know if it hurts the team as a whole dont think so but maybe somewhere down the road it will rub off n people will realize accidents happen.

Wish there were more players like you and less like SaladFork. I'd rather play with ppl with a sense of humour.

Good post :) I like your attitude and I'll gladly stand aside to let you have a jet so I can enjoy the view from the carrier deck as your wings behead and your afterburners turn members of the team in to post-toasties.

                              Rock on.

holy hell you people are idiots.

i love how every thread there is one person with the balls to voice their opinion, and the rest of the forum members attack that person like a feeding frenzy, as if aggreeing with the other jerkoffs gives them some "street cred" of some sort.

if there is someone being a consistant *******, consistantly killing a perfectly good vehicle, killing YOU for a vehicle, THEY DESERVE TO BE SHOT. period.

it is not selfishness, it is not arrogance. score dictates whethere someone sucks or not.

i say they change vehicle priority, to the people with the highest rank, just like commander. hell, only the best get to fly it in the real marines, why not in bf2.

inclosing, quit being a sheep, agreeing with everyone else, and feeling that your agreeing in some way makes you look cooler to the rest of the crowd.
