I think pilots are pathetic to be honest with you.
Was on server yesterday and you couldnt move because you was being bombed seen some of the most supicious kills aswell like when I was bombing about in my buggy going around a building nice and tight and all of sudden obviously out of nowhere and with 2milli seconds and the tighest shot ever I get killed by guess......a plane and the dodgy kills carried on.
If only we had some kind of defense like errmmm our own pilots!?But they're too busy riddling enemy infantry when they could be keeping enemy planes of our backs:|:

Why does everyone always complain about random in game ****? Do you not realize that this game was made by EA and is always going to be ****ed in some way for that reason?

Has this problem got worse lately? Maybe since the patch all the BH'rs have had to find another way to boost their points?

Any class of player or vehicle which can dominate a map and get a completely disproportionate K/D ratio is not conducive to a good gaming experience.

It does seem that the only people who defend this poor example of gaming design are those that get the most out of it.

I see people saying things like you are only jealous or other similar unhelpfull comments. If I wanted to fly a jet I would take the time to learn but it has no appeal to me what so ever. I find it much more fun and challenging on the ground rather than take the easy points option.

Make the jets as easy to shoot down as tanks are and helicopters are to destroy and the game will become far more balanced and that bit more fun for all of us.

I agree with you 110%.

I will only add one of my own jabs ... Its too common and its become way
boring seeing these jet jerks rack up 70-80+ points per round and having
less than 2 team points..then to have to listen to them say, just like you
said above, 'oh youre jealous....'

did the original poster ever play El Alamein with a good A-10 or SU pilot? The other team was screwed. Total domination. It's no different now than it has been in the past.

That's not the point, he was comparing the effectiveness of aircrafts from Desert Combat and Battlefield 2.

Planes were effective in DC, but the learning curve was much steeper, and no matter how good a pilot was, a good player with a stinger could take em down, cant say that about BF2.

Cant say a lot of things about BF2...

This is my first EA game in a long time.. I wasnt familiar with their
product support.. or lack of.. I am now though..

EA will never see another one of my dimes, I promise you that..
PC, console, etc.. They got me once, thats it..

#1 and #3 for USMC where in the bomber...#3 got ALOT of TKs though (lucky he's admin of the server).


BTW this is what happens if you try to use IGLA/Stinger the WHOLE round:



I followed all the tricks of ground AA too...only was in it when I needed to fire...fired from behind...blah blah blah.

BTW you're asking, why only 1 point...well it was a damage assist!!! Woot!!
