Of course, you neglect to tell us that every kill = -1 enemy ticket, so really he's helping the team in that regard significantly more than anyone.
I dont care if he has 100 kills.. if the enemy owns the map you lose.
and when half the team is on deck fighting each other over choppers
and jets, you dont stand much of a chance..

Which has no bearing on the value of a good pilot.
When the airfield was taken all he would do is parachute out of his jet and steal an enemy jet. He did this at least twice until the airbase was taken back.
I belive its whaaaaaa I suck at the jets so I'm gonna bitch about it and hope it gets taken out the game day....
More like a whaaaaaaaaa I don't want to spend half the round waiting for a jet and then most likley get teamkilled for it before I can get in. Those who "own" with jets are those who have the best connection to the server, can load the map the quickest, and therefore spawn the quickest and take the jet off of the ground first. And isn't it funny coinsidence that EVERYONE who pilots a jet happens to be a super skilled god of battlefield and EVERYONE who doesn't is always worse than them. Especially considering this game has 100,000s of players.
Has this problem got worse lately? Maybe since the patch all the BH'rs have had to find another way to boost their points?
Any class of player or vehicle which can dominate a map and get a completely disproportionate K/D ratio is not conducive to a good gaming experience.
It does seem that the only people who defend this poor example of gaming design are those that get the most out of it.
I see people saying things like you are only jealous or other similar unhelpfull comments. If I wanted to fly a jet I would take the time to learn but it has no appeal to me what so ever. I find it much more fun and challenging on the ground rather than take the easy points option.
Make the jets as easy to shoot down as tanks are and helicopters are to destroy and the game will become far more balanced and that bit more fun for all of us.
I'd also like to add that jet and heli pilots are just going to get better and better at what they do. On the other hand, since avoiding helis and jets is all luck, as is AA, people won't be getting any better at countering such things. So if you think it is bad now, wait another few months. Every game will consist completely of plane campers with one infantry guy trying to cap flags and getting a 1:50 kill death ratio.

1. So you're saying people should be hindered because they excel at a certain aspect of the game? Why should I be punished, of all things, for being a good gunner and a good pilot?
2. Well, there's a surprise! Somebody who likes to fly jets, sticking up for flying jets! Amazing!
3. Funny, I don't recall seeing MANY pilots get above 50 points in an 'average' game. Cleansweep is an exception, because it relies on air-superiority, and the bombers are overkill.
If anything, jets need to be made FASTER, the throttle accel/decel time needs to be instantaneous, the ceiling RAISED, the bombs, missiles, and guns need to be MORE lethal. You should cringe when you hear airpower overhead.

Because the iraqi's and afghan tribesman did? If you truely believe in that last statement..
Its a game, suppost to be fun for all, not fun at the expense of the majority.
No, no, no Raptor, the writing in your sig was fine before, you just needed it to be clear that the person with the ridiculous K/D ratio was using a jet. Like I said, I'd just take the "|ccc||PlaneWhore" one and otherwise restore it to the way it was.
