Here's a very useful tip from Arkasha, it seems you can also get onto the boat via the inflattable boats... good if you are playing as USMC and wanna get onto the boat without wasting a BH.
You don't need a chopper to get onto the ship. Instead, you can use an inflatable boat. Just drive it to the north side of the ship, right beside the lowest point. Make sure your boat points west.
Then hit F3 (or F4, whichever is the position on the boat closest to the ship) and then hit "E" to exit. You will wind up on the ship.

Not really, trust me, hardly any people snipe from these spots, especially the boat...
Join your favourite server(s) and check these spots if you don't believe me, 99% of the time there are nobody in these spots, in fact in all the time I've played Wake I've been the only person in these spots, with the exception of when people started joining my squad while I was in the boat, there were like 3 snipers there... we were quite a team, though I think 3 snipers are a tad many... it might give away your position too easily with all the shots being fired, 2 is probably the most you'd want sniping on the boat at any given time.
