I noticed as well.

I love when idiot game devs try to slip something by... thinking we won't notice. Can't wait till we learn about this "feature."

Afaik the only change is the greater FPS, seems less slow now, some people precieve faster as 'cartoony'

or i might be wrong...

For me it was the first ever time i could run the game without freezing every 20-40 seconds... so i like it, plus theres a few little things added graphically that i noticed and liked

Ive noticed it aswell, the graphics seem worse but the performance is much better.

i noticed the opposite. Looks a lot better, textures different. Sharper detail, really impressed in that respect.

I should note, that i changed my graphics settings some a few weeks ago. And it never optimized shaders after that. Until i installed the new patch, so that may explain the difference.

Performance has increased for me too, gotta agree with the cartoony effect also though.

call me crazy but i still dont see it,
the warehouse at dalian seems to be the same to me, but then again i have all settings on high? does this make a difference?

Can anyone post a screenie of two same scenes as seen from 1.02 and 1.03? You're comparing an apple to an orange in those two shots above.

I don't see any cartoony effect on my system...

Have you tried playing with some of the graphics settings like AA or AF and see if it goes away?
