got the same prob. i earned basic and veteran pistol at the same time too, so no First Sergeant. not gonna make me cry since i got 3 unlocks and that's what counts in the end.

Did you get the Basic and Expert Badges at the EXACT same time?

I got with 1.02 the basic and vet badges at the same time.

Updated to 1.03 and stuck at Master sergeant.

This sucks.

There is a guy with 20.000 points with first sergeant... ffs...

OMFG. I have 49 pistol kills. I don't have Basic Pistol Combat. I'll be running to the same problem unless they solve it. I won't fire a pistol until they do.

OMFG. I have 49 pistol kills. I don't have Basic Pistol Combat. I'll be running to the same problem unless they solve it. I won't fire a pistol until they do.

I, like many others, have this problem.
But unlike many others I still have 5000 points to get beforehand.
So, I can hope that EA fix this before i get the 5000 points.

I'm in the same boat as you. I got Basic pistol and Vet at the same time. Also I some how got Vet knife before basic knife. So I guess I'll be stuck at my current rank until they fix this.

I am sure they can fix this.
There just needs to be a check on the points and badges, minimal is basic but if vet or expert exists it should launch the promotion procedure.
I reckon the procedure is just checking for basic only, not vet and expert as options.

Wow i'm not the only one then. This is totally unacceptable, today this player obtained the First Sergeant round about 20000 points where as I, still stuck on Master Sergeant have way over 40000 points, yes thats right! I have over double the points than him with a lower rank. It can't be the pistol glitch because I have all the Basic badges and it hasn't ONCE promoted me. I really hope this will be fixed ASAP!!!
