i have this feeling that they had to make these lower so they could make new ranks up higher so you level up more often. Anyone else feel like that?.

They made the requirements lower so everyone would be ranked up and hungry for the expansion when it's released.

pre patch = around 78,500 and my rank was Gunnery Sgt
post patch = 78,500+ ( I just got a couple points and it promoted me to Master Gunnery Sgt )

Also, I now have all the unlocks.

Oh yea, next rank is 2nd Lt.

I got 3 ranks in-game. I'm now a Staff Sergeant.

~6,000 points.

My stats haven't updated, it was just recent.

Cool.. thats about right where I am Aftershock. I should be pretty darn close to 12,000

I also praise EA for making the changes. I don't think people were expecting this at all. I know I wasn't. Now I am gonna go home and play more :)

if this is the case, beeing staff sergeant after only 7000 points, well, I think EA messed up again, this is way to low requirements

I agree, I think EA shoulda left the Ranking points alone.... IMHO

62000 and change / 347 hours.

it's funny 'cos i threw an ammo pack - boom - instant promotion. got a kill assist - another promotion. finally got a kill - another promotion.

i wonder how long 'till someone figures out the points for the new ranking system...


EDIT: it says on "Progress towards next rank: 91%" so i'm guessing from first sergeant to master gunnery sergeant is somewhere around 10-15k pts.?
