Thats often tue but sometimes snipers go up a crane or a building that can house a few snipers and he gets there first from spawn then claymores himself in stopping the other snipers.
Now thats not fair either. if you do that you need to leave a decent amount of time from the game starting.
...and leave time for the enemy to come up and knife me instead...wtf? heeeeelll no.
I am not trying to be selfish - but the heck if I want 3 other snipers on a roof with me - all that does is beg for the attention of the opposing commander for an arty strike - or one of the tools that joined me on the roof to show himself too much. So instead of a person coming up to kill that one tool - he finds myself and others as a bonus.
To be blunt - screw your plans, and eat my claymore, I have more. You saw the red skull - turn around and find another vantage point, get a spot that compliments the one I am in. If I start shooting and it makes them run for cover - plant yourself with a shot on thier cover - then we tag team them all to death....or is that too much thought for the little walnut rattling in your skull?
Ok, So I've just got in the pilot seat of the attack chopper waiting for a gunner when a sniper player on my team walks up and shoots me out of the cockpit so he can take it up to some high place where he abandons it and it sits there the whole game. He bloody well got a punish and I'd have given him a hundred more if I could just for that. I later walked up to him, gave him some ammo, he thanked me, then I promptly put 2 bullets in the back of his head. I'm hoping he maybe learned a little lesson there. There was no way in hell I was going to forgive for that. The simple punish was just not enough on it's own. Otherwise, I usually forgive too, unless I end up getting TK'd by the same guy repeatedly because he just plain sucks. There are accidents and then there's stupidity.
yeah I don't punish much at all anymore...9 times out of 10 it not their fault. You have several seconds to consider whether to punish or not...use them and think about what happened.

9/10 times maybe for you. I've lost almost 5K worth of global score because of this **** and I'm really tired now.
I had to get in on this thread. I rarely, if ever, punish and it drives me nuts when I get punished for stupid reasons.
I shot down a BH with 5 guys on board and in the process, it either crashed down on or my shots inadvertently hit one of my guys and killed him. I killed 5 guys and defended the flag, but got punished anyhow...... I made him aware that that is totally unacceptable.
On the other hand, I got punished for shooting one of my guys while trying to cap a flag. We were both laying there near the flag and I tried to switch to my medic kit to heal him. I accidentally hit the wrong button, fired, and killed him. Total mistake, but I could see how he thought I purposely shot him. I appologized and revived him, but he punished anyhow.
Considering that I am often close to the top of the scoring in any given map, it drives me nuts when someone punishes for what is always an accidental TK. I have never purposely shoot my own team and that is reflected in my teamwork scores.
Oh well.....
Same here, I rarely, if ever punish unless it is blatantly obvious it was on purpose. I never ever TK on purpose yet get punished almost every single damn time by these dumbasses out there. I think, as someone suggested, that instead of loosing points a TKiller should have the spawn time increased, THAT will probably be more effective.Or just get rid of this whole stupid punishing system alltogether. And if someone says sorry I find it impossible to punish anyway
I never punish unless it's blatantly deliberate. Even if the TKer was incredibly stupid, they already lost (probably too many) points for it. No need to add more or contribute to getting them kicked. If they TK constantly they will probably have a negative score and get kicked eventually for that.
i usually punish claymores at the top of ladders when the situation otherwise doesn't warrant them (and usually revisit the ladder for punish++), stupid artys and some other cases in order to get the guy to stop doing it.
You're whats wrong with this game and I hope you die. I could give a **** less what you consider "warranted" or not.
And it won't get most of us to stop claymoring ladders to protect ourselves. However, in my case, it'll get me to follow you around, pump you with the pistol until just before you die and tried my damndest to get teamkilled by you over and over.
For the rest of the people out there, I never punish.
Just my opinion here-
I have not been playing online much since I got this game but I will say that the times I have been TK'd I have forgiven all. At the time they all seemed like 'in the heat of battle' things. I forgave all, and will contiue to do so. The only time I would even consider punishing is if I thought it were intentional.
I have read alot on these forums and it seems that some people justify their TK'ing with something like 'I wanted to fly with my clan-mate', 'I had to TK him 'cause I'm a better pilot than him', you probably know what I'm talking about.
While these people think that their justification is that their team may do better with them at the controls, I think that it is unfair ( and I would punish ) in public servers to TK just because someone thinks they are better than someone else.
I was in one map, sorry- don't remember which ( too many Coors Extra Gold ), and I kept wondering where the hell our air force was. Did I go and try to 'whore' the chopper? No. Even though I consider myself an 'able' pilot, it just got me more determined to defend our flags and man the Stinger batteries.
I will say that for now, I only fly in single player maps- crap I really don't even want to drive the freakin' vehicles yet- I just don't know the maps that well yet.
I am perfectly happy being a gunner/passenger.
If I hook up with a 'noob' pilot, so what?
I'll do my best to deal some death before he takes us into the side of the mountain, and I won't punish him for it!
If my tank driver doesn't know how to drive, so what? I will try to kill all of the opposing infantry I can with my machine gun.
Same with any other vehicle.
If I'm not driving, I got no room to complain, but I'm also not ging to TK, just so I can drive.
OK, done for now.

i hate those ppl who just shoot u for no reason except to make u mad...i wsih there was like ..forgive...punish.....mega punish cuz when i punsih for deliberate tks..ifeel like the punishment isnt real
Most TK's are accidental therefore I am anti-punish. I hate it when someone runs in front of me and gets run over and TK's me. I also hate when as commander, I drop arty and they fail to heed the warning "Artillary, Your Area" and run right into it. They almost always punish me.
