i never punish - i urge you to do the same

i'm sure i'm like the rest of you and get sick of punisher noobs. I found a lot of my anger left me when i decided for myself that i wouldn't punish anyone ever no more. After playing for a few days like this I received a new higher inner calm. I'm almost not joking. I mean, there really isn't the amount of purposeful tk-ing anymore, unlike bf1942 so most of these teamkills are just stupid, accidental actions in the height of battle so let them go.

Now each time i enter a server i'll act like a parent and sayall 'I never punish and i urge you to do the same'. I thought i'd be flamed but all i've had is positive comment and likewise actions.

Very Zen, Shaftoe. I mostly do the same, but do throw in a bit of reasoning. In a few instances, I tend to smack myself in the head over the stupidity I'm faced with sometimes, and hit PgUp instead.

But on the whole I agree with you. In some ways, it makes the punishing system obsolete, but then without it, we'd not be having this discussion. And paradoxical is my middle name.

Very commendable, I just wish I had that level of control. When I'm at a capped flag & have 5 or 6 teamies there, and get taken out by an arty strike 'cause our commander saw 1 tank - I just cant control to punish urge. Most other times I do forgive. :)

i also rarely punish. its a shame that the result is the same whether u punish or not (-4 for the tk'er)(i think) but there are times when u just cant help but completely own the the Pg Dwn!!! prime example is anytime i get tked by a sniper i mean com'on it sez there frickin name above their HEAD!!! oh and the stupid annoying arty situation mentioned earlier by gungho!! but yeah keep spreading the LURVE

I never punish either.

If it was on purpose, I just kick 'em.

and if it continues, I ban 'em.

Even when I play on other servers, other than ours....I don't punish. I just deal with it and move on.

Good man!!!

90 % of the time I get TK'ed is because of my own stupidity, and i can't punish 'cause of that.

But stat padders.... then I TK... Probably not the smartest thing to do, but they annoy me too much...especially when they're using me to get some more points themselves...

I died and spawned at my airstrip one time. I waited a few seconds for a vehicle to spawn so I could get back into the action amused by a team mate hopping around the place randomly firing his weapon into the floor. He stopped and shot me and that got a punish.

Other than that I don't ... except the one time I accidentaly punished in a hurry.

i usually punish claymores at the top of ladders when the situation otherwise doesn't warrant them (and usually revisit the ladder for punish++), stupid artys and some other cases in order to get the guy to stop doing it.

Yeah i agree with that. I always forgive now too and it does help you too get less annoyed when your punished.

Somtimes when people punish though its beyond bel;ief like when you nade down the infamous ally in karkand and kill like 4 or 5 enemies and 1 friendly and the idiot punishes you. I mean ffs when he loks and sees he was 1 tk along with 5 regular kills then he should know it was his own fault.

I can probably count the total # of punishes I've done on my hands. I basically never punish, and crack up at all the autopunishing nubs out there....

Its funny how in all the forums I have been on with threads like this; everyone says they dont punish, but once in game 99% of the time you are punished for a TK...accidental or not:hmm:??
