So because real tanks, require more than one person to operate the driving and gunning, it should work ingame? LOL here's your clue back as you appear to have lost yours.

Maybe you would be better off playing tic-tac-toe, something one person can do.

Join a game and spend the whole game as the gunner on a humvee. After about 5 minutes, you'll understand why this is a terrible idea.

it would be more realistic but as DICE say and i qoute "with Realism brings Complexity" but I guess they should have like a test run of this idea so they can see what people think of it

The realism is why people play, or do you play to look at the pretty colors? As I said, the tank loader I'm sure is one crew member that even I would pass on, BUT having the driver and gunner seperate would make it more realistic. After all, the game is "modern warfare" (EA).

I have and it works great if I have a driver that I can talk to. If I don't have a driver, I move the hummer where I can start shooting (though I prefer to run people over, as I stated in another thread of mine).

If the U.S. Army can make it work, then anyone else can. If you can't, then that's really sad.

Why, God, why does this idea keep coming being suggested?

Anyone who has played this game for more than 5 minutes will know that this idea will NEVER work. Remember how people complained about the 2 person artillery in BF42? Voice coms or not, there are too many asshats out there for this to even be remotely possible.

I like it. If the gunner jumps out of the BH, the pilot will stay in and try and get others. I think the commander isn't such a hot idea, but gunner and a driver would be nice.

You would have to merge the gunner and commander. A real tank gunner only aims and fires. The commander selects the target.

This idea will only be fully realized with a mod..perhaps.

I like BF2 the way it is atm as far as the vehicles are concerned as each and every single person can drive/fly when and if they need to, with the added bonus of being able to protect yourself on most occassions without doing a quick seat swap.

Like it or not, it's primarily an arcade game based, very loosley, on real life weapons functioning in today's modern armies. The game is reasonably well balanced with a couple of exceptions, so that everyone has a fair chance to have fun.

trust me i can handle the army i have been handling it for 5 years now and still your thinking that if someone cant handle something complex that they cant or should not be in the army i dont see why not there are plenty of places in the army that do net require you to do complex things
