So, it's a hole because the server admin is given the option to turn off/on FF? That's not a hole - that's an option!

I don't think anyone is complaining because you turn of FF. I think the complaint comes from how you take advantage of FF off to your advantage.

I dont play there, and doubt i will because its a US server but im only annoyed cos i know of other admins who done similar things in the past. But it sounds like usutennisguy has best intentions in mind and sounds like hes cleanin server up or the guy who pays for it.

So least "i hope" no more messin around will happen because of this thread in that server which = a better playing experience for people who use their server!

but bottom line is your clan shouldnt of done the c4ing stuff in the first place.

Even living here on the east caost my ping is only 120. If you are in the UK or Europe then it's around 10-40...Lucky:cry: :cry: :cry:

His point is a good one. Using c4 like that is an exploit and should not be done on a ranked server. Now I'm pretty sure that one is in the regulations.

I've asked my Server hosting provider already if C4 Boosting is allowed or not for ranked servers. Pretty much all i got was a neutral response. Something to the extent of: We can not have Knife/Pistol only arrangements or limit the use of weapons (no Artillery etc). No stat padding which... I completely agree with!:) Everything else we must administrate at our own discretion. They have no control over what goes on in our server unless we break one of the rules mentioned above.

Aye but stat padding had no rules in place before it became a big problem, people stats were reset without warning as it was abusing the games mechanics.. shouldnt have to be written down to say its wrong. Its the same with the c4 boosting its abusing the games mechanics and who ever abuses this will be at risk of having stats reset surely

Our hosting company will come out with a Public announcement as they did with Knife/Pistol ONLY servers that were ranked. Alongside this, they also email [UM]Bandit about any concerns as they have done in the past with general issues globally.

Just report the server to EA and be done with it. EA will say if they can run it that way or not. No need for all the internet lawyers to waste their time.

I think the address is bfhq@ea.com or something like that. It's been posted before.

EA should just post a definitive guide to what settings are allowed and which ones are not. The first one they released said that all ranked servers need to have FF on, and it was suggested that FF be set to 100%. Not sure if it has changed since then.
