sure some guy exploited a bug thingy but in all honesty it isnt that serious...

what ea need to do is ban the guys that use the mafia 40 man server cos they are all hackers and openly use them...

It would be nice to have a page where all the rules and regs are laid out officially by EA for all to see, not just trusted partners. Would mean alot less confusion, misunderstandings, and of course, less arguing. :)

Ahhhahaha, Mafia... They once came on my DC Server. I checked out their webpage and my jaw dropped when I read what they were about... Hacking, more hacking, and...hacking.

As for answering the question to decide whether or not the game was desigend for it's use... I don't know! There are a lot of questionable things out there at the moment. Should ya be able to Spawn camp? C4 Boosting is a much smaller concern that is being addressed at the current time because there are bigger issues to explore

If I had to say yes or no... I really don't know how to give a good answer because I like doing it. Whether or not I'm even killing people in the server (i just like building hopping for the fun of flying), makes no difference to me, I just like chillin with my pals right now. I have about 3 more weeks to play BF2 then I have to go away for 2 years for a church thing so I'm going to have my little bit of fun I guess until I don't have my computer.(note: means i will still abide by any official rules EA sets out).

The way I see it that any servers running FF off are for NOOBS anyway! Can't shoot? Can't throw nades w/o tk'ing? That goes for ANY online game with FF off. I imagine that EA's lawyers didn't have these pimple-faced rich pompous a$$ mommas' boys in mind when they drew up the rules & agreements. People think that it HAS to be in writting or it's OK because their to stupid or Arrogant to read between the lines. They find exploits & glitches & other means to show everyone how unskilled and Ignorant people can be. There are many servers out there that actually abide by the rules & also online gaming Etiquette.

Menace UK, remember - you aren't allowed to blacklist servers in this forum. Unless of course you want the thread closed like the other person who tried it. Saves me a bunch of responses! Oh wait... so keep doing it then.

Wow! Someone is very angry today... First off I'm not a "pimple faced ..." whatever you called everyone that plays with ff off. I'm a division 1 level college athlete. Answering your question, We set up our server how we like it. If that means FF is off - so be it! We don't have to give a reason why we may like FF off or on. If you don't like our server and it's rules choose another instead of spamming the thread!

*NOTE: C4 Boosting is not a glitch or Exploit. lol. You can kill me easily if I'm C4 boosting. Artey....shooting me... jeez name your method of killing me and it can be done.

*** C4 Boosting on a specific roof in karkand IS. And I didn't explain which one either hence I have not shown or produced any directions on where to take advantage of it.

If you call C4 boosting Cheating...well this will be a looooong thread. Cheating includes the use of foreign programs: ie. Hacks, cracks, scripts, and taking advantage of glitches in order to gain an unfair advantage over everyone.

I believe you need to rethink how you approach Friendly Fire before posting again. Or... take an anger management class

Cheating may or may not be the correct word to be used for C4 boosting... The "technique" is not well known. Because the vast majority(I think) are unaware of it, it gives those who do C4 boosting an big unfair advantage I feel. Whatever you want to call it, there is no way FF should be off on a RANKED server. You can get a much higher score without ever worrying about tk's, punishments, etc.. than you can at a "FF on" server.

Well, I do understand where you are coming from as we don't have as many TKs as most people. There will be players that Like having Friendly Fire on, and players that favor it being off. I'm one of the few that enjoy playing with it off
