BF:V was a bit of a mare I agree but they had some good ideas, I wouldn't write them off just yet, lets see what they produce before the flaming commences shall we? :)

The zip line looks g@y, IMO. Night vision? How many games have you guys palyed when this gets old in a matter of minutes? Nothing special, I would think they could have come up with a better first expansion pack.

I can hear it now, OMG this is so buggy, EA when you going to PATCH this. This will be another disapointment from EA, mark my words.

I don't understand why people find all the littlest holes to poke in and keep doing it senselessly. The expansion is being made by a completely different team. The patch for BF2 will be released way before the expansion hits anyway. By the time the expansion hits, no one will be complaining about the same things.

And you will most likely be using the same account, same deal with the BF2 Demo, you could use the same account.

There will be NEW maps, NEW gameplay, NEW weapons.

Thouse zip lines sounds like a sure way to get yourself killed looking stupid, verymuch like shooting people having a crap. Nightmaps sure sound good also ability to play old maps in night seems to be nice change :P That dynamic changing between night time and day like in Joint Operations would be nice :)

Teargas sounds stupid :P as if stuff exploding next to you doesn't disrupt enough :P

omg ... the xpansion didnt come out yet ...and 70% are bitching already ...

guys ... just be thankful that they put a great effort in providing the players with something new in that short time ... not like 98% of the other game companies ... and if they dont ...all start bitching that the game is getting old and they want something new ...

in my opinion EA is doing a good job in pleasing their community ...
but certain things need time ... so ... enjoy what u get and stop bitching !!!

The game was made by DICE Sweden, the expansion pack is being made by DICE Canada, there is no conflict in the development and no chance of "destroying" BF2 since they are 2 complete independant sattelite offices.
