I am getting tired of a game that is getting exploited to death. I am just sick of mashtur blackhawk whores, the prone jump glitch ect. It was a real fun game at the release before the exploiters got into full swing. Now its just bunny hopping noobtoobers and stat padders. Sometimes you get on a mature server with a group of people playing for the good times, but it gets more and more rare each day. I have actually started playing CSS again.

well i guess opinions are frowned upon on this board. hmmm, i would expect this type of comment from many of the noobs in here, but not an admin. guess it goes to show what type of people are running these forums...

as for getting tired of the game;
I am not tired of the game yet, I dont get to spend as much time on it as some, But I must say this community seemed alot better before release. My only hope (for the community and the game ) is that the novelty will wear off and the rest of us BF fans can get on with the game.

as for getting tired of the game;
I am not tired of the game yet, I dont get to spend as much time on it as some, But I must say this community seemed alot better before release. My only hope (for the community and the game ) is that the novelty will wear off and the rest of us BF fans can get on with the game.

I agree with that Speedy but i also think that this game is reaching its hight right now, I even remeber when UT2004 was almost getting unbearable atleast on the offical maps because of noobs. If you have played counter strike for a while there was a period there where every1 was noobing it up and you couldnt get a straight game anywhere but the people eventually got bored and now i love CS:source. Hopefully BF2 will go through the same growth.

its hard to compare UT to BF2 series... but.. at least with UT2004,
if you got beat it was 99% of the time because the other guy was
better than you.. with BF2, it can be because your commander
sucks BAD, and the enemy knows where you are but not visa-versa
the whole game.. The stats system is way over rated, over hyped,
etc.. all it has done was take the worst of the community and give
them something to exploit, so what does EA do? well they punish
the 99% of us who dont exploit it by instituting stupid rules like the
minimum player before game starts, which turns otherwise great
servers into ghost towns.. combine that with no fav. server list, wow,
speechless there..

BF2 is a game I will play out in 3-4 months, put disc back in the
box, and sit it back on the shelf.. EA has no clue how to publish,
promote, improve, or otherwise make better this game.. all they
want to do is make a quick bundle of cash NOW, then wait 4 months,
release a FEW more maps in some 'EXPANSION PACK' which will cost
us all another 30 bucks or so.. and then they'll probably do it again
later.. compare that to UT2004s community and ever-growing
expansion.. FREE.

I got to my corporal rank and I kinda got done playing. All that effort and I got another gun. After that I really didn't care. I play well on my server and usually get a descent score. Maybe it's my crappy net connection and lag, but this game just lacks something. I dunno what, but it lacks something. I'm looking forward to the mods. As always, mods are what keeps games going and makes them really fun. Experiementing with different mods, different guns (without playing for 3 days strait), different maps. Of course you won't get ranks, but then again who cares? Why doesn't EA just track how many kills people get and how much time they play anyway? That would be cool. That way clanmates can compare amongst each other. I mean that's what we do anyway, and we'll always know that the guys at the top either have no life, have a kickA** computer with a T1 internet connection about 3 blocks away from the server they play on, or they're probably stat whoring. People often use outside tracking systems anyways. JUST FOR THEMSELVES. Who cares about the guy that plays 18 hours each day. Just imagine if you put that much time at a job, you could be rich.

made sergent and just dont really feel like playing anymore, dunno why,well thats a lie really i'm just sick of all the muppets on ranked servers and the server (where all the folks from my dc days played) got shut down because it was unranked.
