Good going on responding to his post moron. As I had previously said before in this thread, people who are asses in the game are just as much as an ass here on the forums and vice versa. Thank you for proving my point, fool.

But you know, that is not really even the point. The point was that he was making an observation, a personal opinion, and you felt the need to jump in with your comments that:

a. really didn't help him
b. had nothing to do with his initial post at all.

I am not tired of the game it's self but i am tired of the tking and all that stuff but hopefully the next patch will sort most of this

Dont get your hopes on the next patch fixing these and other
exploits.. because EA doesnt have the brains to fix anything.. I mean,
look.. they didnt even include a fav. server list in the release .. How
stupid is that..

YES, I am tiring of this game, quickly..

I played UT for 6 years.. since the original UT99.. then 2003, then 2004..
I NEVER tired of UT.. Why.. well, because it stays fresh.. the publisher (EPIC)
DID NOT control its addons, maps, skins, etc etc etc, like a crack head,
i.e. EA does.. EPIC allows its community to add to it without hesitation..

Lets face it.. only a few of the BF2 maps are fun.. the rest are just total
clusterf**ks... but in UT series, NEW maps come out by the dozens
daily.. There must be thousands of UT maps.. skins, etc etc etc,
easily made, easliy pushed to clients when they connect, no remote
downloading and installing BS like BF series..

Another major reason why the game is getting old.. all of the silliness..
magical maps with all your enemies location on it ALL THE TIME.. jeez,
what a joke that is.. there is no sneaking up on your enemy really..
Snipers are nonexistant.. they cant hide.. they are simply just like
any other kit except their scope is better.. and the Chopper Capping
is just stupid as hell... since when did choppers take ground? another joke.


This game gets old pretty quickly.. I have found myself going back
to UT2004 more and more each day, and less BF2..

EA is the gestapo of game publishers.. and that being said, all
that will come of this game is a couple 'expansion packs' and
those new maps and vehicles sure wont be enough to keep me
around for long..

I agree with that Speedy but i also think that this game is reaching its hight right now, I even remeber when UT2004 was almost getting unbearable atleast on the offical maps because of noobs. If you have played counter strike for a while there was a period there where every1 was noobing it up and you couldnt get a straight game anywhere but the people eventually got bored and now i love CS:source. Hopefully BF2 will go through the same growth.

So then folks what makes a game last... obviously playability but then what?

patches, mods, comps, more maps?

I've played Enemy Territory for over 2 years, I played on the pubs where there were six maps (I didn't join a clan) but the attitude was normally pretty good. Nobody punished others without a good reason, and even then they'd probably just let it go. the playability was outstanding, a few patches, no mods I knew of... but it held my attention for years.

So what makes a game last?

Take some time offand play some of the mods when they come out. I rarely pklayed on a bad FH server

Simple as that...let December or 2006 come around first before you put this game on the "old" list. Taking a break is what they need to do.

I'm kinda sick of this game, mostly because conquest is getting incredibly stale. Before BF2, I played BFV since its release, and that had nothing but conquest also, so I'm positive I'm just burnt out on the gamemode.

I'm waiting for the mods to bring me back to BF2. In the meantime, Dodgeball for HL2 is unique enough to hold me over until the next patch and/or mod.
