Never feel guilt.I spend most of my time in BF2 hiding somewhere and feeding on scraps around flags from 200m or so with my sniper rifle.Two things you can almost guarantee.

1.Someone far better skilled will occasionly spot you no matter how well hidden or far away you are.Then the inevitable headshot or knife in the back is only a matter of time away.

2.I hate the context that noob is used in gaming as no matter how experienced or skilled you are one bad round and some jackass will brand you.However those guys that are pvts or PFC's need a challenge and the more they have to think about what they are doing the better they will get and in turn the better the game will be for everyone.

I feel no guilt in killing the enemy, only guilt if I accidently kill a team mate which I always apologize for profusely. :)

It's not that it's real, it's just the fact that I feel guilty for doing better than somebody else at something.

I don't know why either... it's kind of like the feeling is just there.

well. feel like that every now and then..

thats why alot of times ill pull the newbs into my squad and show them how its done, and let them drive on slower maps. etc etc.

I have felt guilty only twice as a sniper. once was when i wiped out a squad of 5, in 5 shots. Only to have them all come straight back to the same spot, and to have me do it to them again. I was directly above them, and they were searching all round for me, when i shot one theyd try and hide but not Under cover, BEHIND cover. so it didnt help. I told them where i was then, and dropped a claymore over the edge and got another 3 kills:)

The other was when the MEC had a bunch of snipers and i issued a challenge to them, they took it up but not 1 got me - 13 kills to 0 in 5 mins.

Ultimately, unless you deliberately follow one poor bloke around theres no real need to feel it i think. They'll learn, and soon you'll have better competition.

i felt a little sympathy when i kept killing Lil_girl in a server over and over and she was calling me a hacker and crying on TS

I don't know, maybe it's just me... but sometimes like if I kill several guys in a row, kill a guy that's trying his best to take me down, or even if I kill someone by using a lame tactic because I have to (dolphin diving, etc.) , I'll get this guilty feeling ... almost like I want to show mercy and let them get me back.

It doesn't happen all the time, it's just like every now and then I'll feel wrong about it... and even like if I'm up on top of a building and a guy has his back turned towards me or doesn't know where I am and I shoot and kill him, I'll feel guilty... probably for not really giving him a chance to fire back at me or whatever.

Maybe it's just that I have too much respect for my enemy... or maybe it's that my feelings run so deep that they seep into PC games as well?

Yes i commonly do. I am almost always found on the right side gunner on a Blackhawk, and Jeep4x4(our pilot) favors me especially when in pubies so i basically kill everyone at everybase. After killing a guy 5 or 6 timesI recognize his name, and only kill him if he is directly affecting me. I Spread my love. My BH is a hate free organiziation.

A guy bailed out of a plane while i was scooting over a desolate piece of water in a boat. I got in the MG and just pointed at him... he was completely still, knowing he was fu**ed. When I eventually decided to shoot I killed him the apologised to him with a added...

Yup your not alone sometimes I just wonder ...How much noobs have I owned How many people have I killed, crushed tore appart so sometimes I take walks and say hello to the noobs that think their good (....but their really not) so you know you gotta give them a little chance you know.
