So the real issue isn't the fact you're pwning, but the fact that you're uncomfortable being good at something?

Although having morals is commendable, the fact remains that this is a game. Everyone enters the game knowing that there will be days when your butt gets pwned and days where you're laying down the shiznit.

Do you often feel guilty?

I feel guilty in other aspects of life... it's a bit personal, but I guess I'd just better go ahead and explain.... another example of times that I feel guilty is when I say something funny and like a group of people laughs about it.

I don't know if it's the fact that I feel guilty that others aren't being laughed at for their jokes, or if it's because of the fact that I'm afraid deep down inside that someone may be jealous of the attention I'm getting at the moment, but either way that makes me feel uncomfortable for some odd reason.

Also, add the fact that I have social anxiety disorder and maybe it's not so surprising I feel guilty about so many things!

maybe if cheap tactics weren't used: dolphin diving/jumping, etc., you wouldn't feel like that. Take it like a man and dont rely on cheap tactics.

if you are using cheesey tactice, like dolphine diving or spawn camping or bunny hopping, you SHOULD feel like a lame ass loser...

If you kill without being a Cheese d*ck then you should NOT feel guilty...

pretty simple...

I dont feel guilty when i kill becasue i NEVER use cheese...

Same reason I stopped playing poker. I just felt so bad after stealing huge pots because of a one in a million river/turn.

Yeah, sometimes I feel guilty. Like when I know a sniper worked for half the round to get into his spot, and I knife him. Should have set up a claymore :). Sneaking up on people rock, because you can get kills you normally couldn't, like defib kills and nade kills.

:laugh: ...:hmm: no not in the slightest, joining a server to have myself initiate a votekick against someone for no reason what so ever that makes me feel strangely guilty even though it wasnt my fault.

Remember, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result...so if they come back for more...shot 'em from a different angle.

It's not that it's real, it's just the fact that I feel guilty for doing better than somebody else at something.

I don't know why either... it's kind of like the feeling is just there.

Solution: don't do anything in the least bit competitive, especially online games, or multiplayer games of any type. I didn't say it was a good solution.

i usually pinpoint snipers and send a teammate up the ladder to see if there's a claymore and if not then he gets a knife kill if there is i'll revive him (if i can) and go up the ladder myself

i love sticking a knife in a snipers back

I love pertending i dont see them till they are 3 feet away which i prompty jump do a 360 and pop them in the head a couple times why they are suprised

Yeah i get that way too.

One time i was on muushtar and while some of my team were taking the flag i sat at a spawn and killed this guys that spawned there. i stayed cause i thought he would return. low and behold he did so i shot him in the back again, and again. My teammates still hadn't got the flag so i fealt really bad and ended up running to the flag, only to get shot.:)

I do feel bad for the guys with negative points at the end of the round who don't realize that they has been teamkilling the entire round.

Ok i apologise i couldn't face reading the other nine pages of replies but in response to the topic starters questions yeah i do. Not often i may add given the cheap shot ways i have been taken down, but killing guys who spawn at a point you are in the midst of capturing totally unaware that they have appeared right next to you, or those with a bit of a lag who are just kinda standing there aways make me feel a bit guilty. That however is countered with the pleasure I have in taking down campers, a full blackhawk, etc etc
