i learnt that you can kill a BH with 1 anti-tank rocket if you hit the "special spot".

Was wondering how you perform the prone and roll thing I've seen so many guys do.

Just press Z to go prone, and if some one else is wathing, they will see you roll! It's just an animation, it does it automatically when you go prone most of the time.

Actually I think that is not correct

I asked about this a while bak, iirc, you have to be going to one side and prssing the z key at the same time, you know you are doing the roll because your view kind of flicks to one side a tiny bit as you do it.

I might be wrong about the keys you need, it might be the sprint, side and prone key at the same time.

back on topic, I didn't know about the ducking in mg nests, thought that was only on tanks etc

I didnt know that when ur commander and place an artilery strike...all ur team mates will rush into it even when they can see the big red sign.

Yes, you need to be moving at an angle other than straight-forward or straight-back in order to roll. Nothing on your screen, however, will be of any indication that you rolled. Only other players see this.

I didnt know you can spot whatever you want by press 'Q' and right-click on Spotted and you can choose.

So when I found this, I keep saying "Enemy boat spotted" in Karkand

Phew! I feel better about myself after starting this thread yesterday. Nice to know I'm not the only one out there who has had to learn things the hard way. But honestly, why isn't this stuff documented in the manual? Do they (EA) intentionally leave this stuff out of the manual or is it just an oversight? At any rate, I bit the bullet and bought the Prima Guide just because I'm so hooked on this game and want to learn as much as possible. I know it's a ripoff to some people, but I recommend getting it since it has some very good advice and detailed descriptions of every map and tactics which should be used.

Also, I still don't know the proper way to use the TV guided missile on the attack helicopters. I don't spend much time in the gunners seat and don't know of any way to practice it.

- smoke on vehicles, only new that when having like 5000 points

- fact that you can slide down ladders using SHIFT key, didn't know this untill like 15000 points
