The reason why the american attack chopper is not as good is simple. One word. BLACKHAWK. It destroys everything, all you have to do is shoot the minigun once and everything on the map dies, even the wildlife is slaughtered with one minigun round. In fact if you shoot it long enough the map splits in half and a giant volcano forms in the middle of the map.

I think he means the MiG-29, but even the piddling F14 Tomcat is superior to that.

I was about to rip you a new hole till I read you're from Canada. If American made planes/weapons aren't the best, what's better? Canadian airforce? With plane parts that say "Made in America" on it? Or Russian made aircraft? Russians have some good stuff, I give them that. But I wouldn't say its better.. Maybe better if a Canadian is flying an Ameican plane. But that's about it.

You think I listen to my government? My (u.s.) government are a bunch of lying asses, I dont listen to them. But when the discovery channel comes on and shows me how bad ass our air power is, explains why in detail and in comparison with other military aircarft. I'll believe that. BTW:: Russians are cool, don't insult them.

actually fastest fighter in the world is the mig-25...but technically it is an interceptor. And, also it really only used as a recon plane...the russian version of the sr-71. Also it could only do mach3 d\for very short periods of time....so technically it was usless. In all reallity the two best soviet planes ever built were the su-35 and mig-29. Both are outstanding aircraft when it comes to flight characteristics...but their electronics leave something to be desired compared to their american counterparts!

Well, I think this might be a hard egg to crack but I will try...

You seem to have your mind set on EA always doing things wrong and they did on purpose. Well let me tell you a little secret, EA does things in patches, for alot of reasons, see how the community reacts to the changes, if it greatly influences gameplay, how buggy it is... Then along with all of the variables comes along is issue of balance, thier are roughly 35-40 weapons that each other weapon needs to be tested with balance issues. That may sound simple to you, but it is not at all, Battlefield 2 has something that most other games don't have, a game that is high demand, high quality, system demanding, and over populated... Peolpe will find ways to find any bug, glitch, or exploit they can to achieve a better score then the next person.

The MEC Havok is my favorite helo, the flying ability, great turns and flips. The 30mm cannon, great splash for clearing rooms, slow rate of fire to capitalize on its power to aim its shots. These attributes put it to the top of my list.

The Cobra is second here, the 20mm cannon rips people but not so many vehicals, doesn't compare to the 30mm.

The Z-10 bring up the rear, the 20mm on this helo is thaetic, highly underpowered it would seem, but let me tell you, with Chinese jets over head this underpowerment is a good call.

Now lets get into gameplay practicalities and balance, Take a Havok up against a Cobra, you will lose unless a TV Guided shot is taken... The sleak design of the Cobra makes the missles on the wide stance of the Havok fly by on both sides, you need to get a side shot, or turn and only use one of your rocket trays to complete with a rocket kill.

The Cobra vs. Z-10 is a better match up, but in this the Z-10 is at a great disadvantage due to the 20mm underpower, your best shot at a victory over the Cobra is a TV Guided shot.

Saying this, I still prefer the Havok over the Cobra even though given the reasons above.

Now saying all that, that is all balance and gameplay issues... Do that comparing everything to 35-40 other weapons, movement types, armor points, hit boxes, and many other variables and see how fast you create a flawless game with no bugs, perfectly tested gameplay, and a stress test on your servers of over 1,000,000 people.

Every American plane is wildly inferior to its MEC and Chinese counterpart in Battlefield 2. In the real world, American planes are the best by an enormous margin.

In BF2, the American attack chopper is like a hand grenade, while the Chinese and Mec attack choppers are like 15,000 pound bombs.

Why does EA hate America?

Because EA gave us better support helos.

American planes aren't the best by an enormous margin, they just haven't fought against anything other than the MiG-29 recently. However, the F-22 will kick ass (but EA was apparently too bullheaded to put it in)

Maybe you just suck, I've shot down plenty of j10s with the f35 and the same goes for the cobra vs the mi17 or whatever it is.
