Find out your BF2 Skill Rating!

Anyone interested, post your userID(nickname or number is fine), number of TK's, Team Damages, and Vehicle Damages(since I can't pull those from got3n.com)and I will punch the stats into my handy-dandy BF2 skill calculator for ya.

Some results so far:
exp.Elektric(#1 on leader board) - 202.77
Cotizi - 191.58
Rombaft - 123.72
ZapStarfighter(me! ) - 124.22

Note: got3n.com is experiencing heavy server load, so I may not be able to get stats from there. Bf2s.com is no good, so if you want me to do it for you, you might have to leave a link to a stats site that's working.

Also, the formula is considerably complex, so I'll need much more than your K/D ratio. I'll release the formula on here once I get some more results and can fine-tune the average point.

It's all good. The site looks great from what I've seen, but like every other stats site is probably getting bombarded right now. You should give me special access though.

Well, I can't find a single stats server that's operational, so what I'm going to do in the meantime is get a free website like Geocities, leave text boxes open, and then allow people to calculate their own stats on there.

I'll add some kind of posted scores board, etc. I won't be able to do anything due to webmail block until I get home from work tonight(and Liz is away for the weekend so I have free time to better serve the BF2 community ). I'll keep you guys posted.

If one of the stats servers clears up in the meantime today, I'll try and get some of the requests filled out.

The problem is that many of the people that post on here are good players. My goal is to make the formula average at 100, but right now the standard deviations are way too high for my liking. I think it's a decent measurement of skill though because it factors in virtually every aspect of gameplay. No skill rater like this will be perfect or without controversy, but it's something more introspective than the currently available stats for sure.

Well, in my own defense. I never played an FPS like this one before. I am a HL2/QUAKE3 player and that was my style. The first month I had this game I was just getting raped because I was stuck in the mode of thinking. I feel like if I am a 68 overall, I am probably more like an 80-85 now. . .certainly still below the average, but not by so much. :)
