A.) the map is already available for download
B.) there are some servers running it right now
C.) I have been fighting on AMERICAN SOIL with BF2 for about 10 months now...a little thing called ARMORED FURY. 3 MAPS in USA (one in Alaska...technically)

I was playing SF today. After a round I wanted to play some EF, so I unclicked the 'Same Mod Only' button in the Internet Filters for Game Options.

I saw about 25 servers running Highway Tampa...

It isnt in Florida, I thought it was too =( Its in the middle east
the supply route has been deemed "tampa highway" by USMC forces...
