I doubt there'll be a map release with the 1.03 patch.

2 new maps appeared on the same server just before the testing of the 1.01 patch and everyone hoped for them to be released but they never were.

There were Expansion pack maps because they had different teams(spetnatz and stuff). That map has USA & MEC so it isn't for the expansion pack. Most likely they will release it at the same time as the patch or after it.

I think "Highway Tampa" refers to the supply route in Iraq, which is constantly under attack.

An American map would be nice. And keep in mind, the entire game is "unrealistic" if you think about it. We've never fought on Chinese soil, and we haven't fought against a "coalition" of the entire Middle East. This game is all about what 'may happen' in the future. (With China rising to be the next world superpower, they may very well be our next opponent if we don't play our cards right).

But *ahem*, back to the post. I hope they also make a map that pits MEC vs. China. That's my one disappointment with the maps so far.

hell yeah! looks like a new map indeed!!!

and also, it's on a different version of bf2 like you said. cos all 1.2 patch ends with 2484.

i still cant beleive that they even attempted to ask us if we would pay for stuff we can make ourselfs. they really must thing we are dumasses.
