New official map in test right now for patch 1.03 ?!

I saw a new map "Highway Tampa" in test at EARS server. They are not testing the addon but the new patch. Look at the number version of the game "1.1.2490".
Do you think this map will be released with the patch ?

It is approaching the end of August, I don't see how they could be close to putting out a patch unless they are testing it.

I think this is a good sign.

However if this map is going to be pay to play they won't be getting my money...

I wouldn't mind playing an American Map. A little unrealistic as we (americans) do not usually fight warfare on our own soil. Unless you call New York or other areas war zones.

Think about how cool that would be if you were on top of a McDonalds shooting rockets. Or if you had to fight your way to the nearest mall and big battle was going on inside Foleys :laugh: ...lol

oh i agree man, itd be awesome to fight on an american based map haha, just didnt think that they'd actually have that in the game.

It was a survey, they are seeing if there is an intrest in players to pay for content. I'm sure 90% of the people asked said they would not pay for it.

I was expecting to see something in the way of new maps with this patch...this would be very similiar to what we seen for Battlefield Vietnam for those that remember...

This patch could be very good news for us all...if history repeats itself...

I doubt there'll be a map release with the 1.03 patch.

2 new maps appeared on the same server just before the testing of the 1.01 patch and everyone hoped for them to be released but they never were.
