    On my old comp i ran the settings all on low and got stretchyness and on my new comp all on high and no stretchyness, ive got a 600 watt PSU

      could be power then, when i got my 5900xt last year, i installed it and a pop up said something along the lines of "there is insuficient power availible to run the card a maximum settings, continue with lower rates y/n"
      i agreed and about 5 seconds l8r there was a "pop" and the smell of burning, i had a 250 watt psu, i upgraded to a 350 and all was fine,

      since i have upgraded to a new machine with a 550W enermax

            Well i fixed my stretchy problem.. I have reverted back to version 5.1 of the catalyst drivers and everything is peachy again.

                I've stated this in another thread, but you should update your mobo/chipset drivers in addition to your vid card drivers.
