texture problems, everything looks all stretchy

Hi. Whenever I play battlefield 2 I try to put the graphics on medium but the textures on everything looks warped and stretchy for some reason. But its actually not just this game it happens when I try to put my settings high on games like Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike, and battlefield vietnam. I do have screenshots of what it looks like, though I don't know how to show them. I dont think this is supposed to be happening since I have a GeForce 6800.

AMD athlon 64 3300+
EVGA GeForce 6800

i have the same problems with my ATI 9600 , i roll back to a different driver, you could do the same and see with your nvidia????

I only have the driver that came with the card, no new ones installed.

WELL INSTALL THE NEWEST ONE !!!!!!! that should hopefully work!

I tried before, but it looks worse as in most of the stuff on the screen is black. So i use the one that came with the card because it works.

WTF! overheating?!!!?!? overclocked?

Not over clocked and its not overheating it stays on 69 if im pushing it. I also have the side open and a fan blowing on the card so it shouldnt overheat.

69 fahrenheit or celsius?

Or go on the manufacturers site and find there driver which they think is the most stable for there cards.

That is definately overheating!!!!! my case stays at 30 - 32 celsius, dunno what my graph card is cos its shite, but runs bf2 on medium, hopefully getting XFX 6800gt soon. What case have you got , number of fans???

Im talking about my card not my case. My card stays at 62 Celcius and it says its ok because it shows green bars.

I said my case stays at that, keeping my card around that temp, that is overheating, 69 celcius that pretty high, what case?? PSU???
