texture problems, everything looks all stretchy

whats a psu and im not sure what you mean about my case. I only know i have a HP pavilion computer with 2 add-ons.

Uninstall your old drivers and bundled software using Add/Remove programs.

Download and run DriverCleaner3 per the instructions on his website:

Ok. I followed KingofKhaos' instructions with running drivercleaner3 and downloading the latest one and what i got was no different from the other times i tried a new driver. Here are some pics of what I mean

If you have 'fast-write' ON, then turn it off... if it's OFF then turn it ON...

This stretchy problem happened to me on Joint Operations and fast write was the cause of it.

Follow KingOfKhaos's instructions again, but begin by uninstalling your current driver in Safe Mode. Reboot back into Safe Mode and install the latest drivers. Reboot again in Normal Mode and see how you fare then.

The Fast Write issue seems to affect ATI more than NVidia and most cards have it disabled by default anyway, not that it's worth enabling anyway.

Dude....

Dont keep your case open with a fan blowing on it....not good.

The air intake and flow through the case is important....
Also, dont know how much RAM you have, but many of my graphic anomalies were taken care of by adding another gig taking it ot 2 gigs. Has made real difference for me in other games as well.

But close the case, remove fan.

Fast-Write:
When you reboot hit Del (or the specified key on-screen) to get into your BIOs. The menus vary, so go into all of them, and look for something called "Fast-Write". As Drunken said, most have them off by default.

PSU:
Power Supply Unit, this concerns me because usually pre-builts such as HP have lower wattage rated PSUs because they don't intend for them to have such demanding hardware in there. To check this, open your case up. The PSU is in the back left corner. There should be a sticker on there that says its rating.

512MB should atleast run the game, perhaps on lower graphical settings, but should run it none-the less. I would recommend getting another identical RAM chip to make it 1GB as it is definately holding your system back. Also make sure you're using the 77.76 drivers provided by nvidia.

I have an after-market psu in my comp it runs at 350 Watts, so that should be fine.

400 watt at least really but, looks like overheating, pick up a couple more fans or splash out on a water cooling system hehehehe.

have you plugged a power plug into the video card?

a geforce can "run" without being plugged in...you just get screwed up graphics..

I dont know what a power plug is, but my video card did come with something called a s-video cable. But the cable isnt on my video card its still in its' plastic wrapper.
