Blackhawk vs Jets: Ramming Ok?

I've been doing a lot of blackhawk killing over the past week or so and have a great time doing it but find they are almost indestructible in most cases. If you catch them hovering or on the ground you might get lucky and kill them with guns. But missles in most cases miss for no reason. I've tried perfecting the missle attack/gun attack on the blackhawk and found that missles will miss the helo even if no flares are dropped for no real reason. I've come in with cannons and ripped down the side and recieved several kills (meaning my bullets landed on the crew area) yet the BH flys on.

So in response to the nearly indestructible nature of this helo I've found it to be easier just to ram that fat bird and sacrifice your aircraft. In most cases if you go in shooting a land a few hits you get all the points for killing everyone in the chopper.

I've had some people complain that it's cheating or unfair so I wanted to see what people think of this tactic.

In my book all fair in love and war. Ramming the BH to kill it is just fine considering it can be repaired in flight, can cap flags in seconds and has the survivability of a tank.

Maintaining control of the Air is important and if you don't want your BH shot down your fighters need to keep the other fighters busy. If they go lone wolf and look for kills kiss your precious helo goodbye.

So what do people think of this issue?

It's their fault for stepping into the BH, if you ram your jet into it either you get all the kills or the pilot gets a bunch of TK's. Make heli whores think twice.

i think its sad you suck so bad you have to ram it. Infact i know of servers where if you do that you can get kicked/banned for it

it fair the blackhawk is tooo overpowered. THey need to stop the repairing in flight and make the armor and stuff on the black less tolerant

i think it's sad you suck so bad that you're unable to move your heli around. Infact i know of servers where if you do heli whore flags, you get a jet rammed into you (by me)

shame i dont fly but if i did i would play on the servers where u would get your ass kicked for such a cheap tactic. 1 jet is not better than 5/6 team members working together capturing flags. 1 person cannot take down a BH you need 5/6 mates to help you take it out of action.

of course you would play on those servers, otherwise *gasp* somebody might kill a blackhawk!

all the arguments have been said a thousand times, if you dont understand them by now, you never will. but there really should be some sort of law against ppl defending blackwhores calling other tactics 'cheap.'

I've done it a few times on accident because of lag. And the people that my jet hit try to kick me but it never worked.

I usually hide on rooftops and when they start hovering. I shoot 1 rocket into the opening of the BH and then turn it so it will blow up inside. Always gets me atleast 1 kill

Well I find hovering blackhawks easy targets for aircraft. Its when they are moving that they can be bothersome.

Just slow down to 400 mph in the aircraft. And you'll be able to launch about 5 missles before you get in raming distance. And you'll end up killing the blackhawk.

yeah, most of the time I have rammed an BH its b/c of lag (or incompetence) while I am trying to shoot it down. Tis a good way to get rid of them though....what with the fast jet spawn times and all.

i dont mind that tatic at all......... i just dont like it when im in the attack helo and that happens. Its not too hard to shoot that bad boy down from a plane i do it all the time. but when people dont even try to shoot just ram into me that just frustrates me.

I spend most of my time in the plane, and I hate taking down the helis, by the time you lock on, you are too close and the missle miss. and once you actually get your missles off, its too late, because you have just rammed the BH. The locking system has to be improved. The signal should be locked on soon, and the missle should hit planes more easily (non of this tight turn to avoid missle crap)
