i also do it with the black hawk going to flag to flag its the best way the get allot of points in one round but black hawk is easy target ive you ride a tank schoot on it and you kill allot and ive you ride a buggy you can shoot them down very fast it isnt hard to get a black hawk down

I hope the chopper whoring stays as it is, they get easy points and so do I, I just hide and when they are over the flag I pop an m203 into the passenger compartment and you can easily get 3-5 kills and 3-5 flag defends at the same time, then you get to recapture the flag for more points :rock: :rock: , the points add up quick that way and they will be back as they make their rounds around the map, I love it. I get more satisfaction and fun out of kill them than if I rode in the chopper and capped flags. Also chopper hunting in a tank is fun too, and as someone else noted, it is easy way to get multi kills!

They shouldn't be able to repair in the air though, should be forced to land on a pad to repair or atleast land somewhere and repair. Other than that it is fine.

I was playing on some server last nite and I called a guy in a blackhawk a stupid stat whore for well flag whoring...(100pts. a round). and he calls me a n00b, thats ****ed up isnt it?

well, do you thing that it will be fixed in the next patch? while I personally like to fly in cirlces around a enemys flag and let my gunner provide air supporrt, i dont sit there and get the flag myself. do you think that when blackhawks rape the entire area while team gets flag is whorin??? just curious

Stop crying. :cry: Transport choppers are the easiest flying vehicle to take down. Get on the AA or pick the AT kit and take them down. Hell you usually get 2-5 kills. Easy pickings.

dude..he has a valid point here. heli flag whoring is anoying.
also because they can repeat it over and over again.
as soon as a team is shot down they will spawn at the heli point ( if flag is not taken) and get the heli instantly....

the only thing you can do is be a commander and artillery their asses over and over again and as a spec ops lay c4 on the ground so when the chopper appears again you blow them up.

but that is not the point of this discussion. it's about the fact that this is now a comon thing to see.

seriously guys its a game ok dont see what all the fuss is about. As somone posted above the blackwhores get the easy points and the people defending the flags get easy points works both ways really !

it really does not matter if this is a game or not...
we are talking about a game that "Trys" to be somewhat realistic...
In this regard...
Never in the history of any military anywhere, EVER... Has there been a case, where an Air unit could hold a Ground location... The air unit can CLEAR a ground location, but in the end, someone on the Ground need to capture that place...
The fact that a Heli can hover over a place and capture it is complete CRAP!!!

And no... i have never been killed by or even seen people doing this with a black hawk...

But from what you guys are describing, its sounds like an abuse...
Maybe not cheating... But its definately abuse...

If the tactic works, I can't blame people for doing it. All the frustration should be directed towards EA to change how the game works, not at gamers for playing the game the way it is. And in fact, EA will be doing that.

I've done it three times, twice with good pilots that used VOIP to spot targets while capping. It took teamwork, and was fun. One of the more fun things was organizing a Blackhawk theft, when we weren't playing the US.
