My name is indeed oaKenfoLd, at least you got part of it right. Regarding the signature, I understand why you'd put a sig with nothing to do with BF2 on the BF2 forums.

I can't count the # of times my clanmates(who work well together, sacrifice themselves for the greater good, etc...) are whoring in a chopper and even without tons of teamwork, I can take the hawk down.

Any time we're on the ground together, we work together as much as we do in the hawk and ALWAYS take it down. If you guys can't, you need to learn how instead of making threads online.

I don't disagree that maybe it should tkae longer to repair it while in the air, or longer to cap the flag. That's simply balance. But to hear you people talk, or at least some of you, it's an invincible entity that has wall hax and aimbotters. There are so many ways to disable that chopper, or make it ineffective.

Effective ways to destroy a BH-whore:
1: machine-gun them to death
2:snipe the driver (if you got the M-95)
2A: if you dont have the M-95: snipe the gunners/engis/otherguys in there and you will get tons of kills.
2B: kill everyone in the BH with any hand-held gun
3: use jet's MG (if you know how to use it, you can kill a BH in 1 or 2 pass, especially if you kill the engies, wich you should be able to do easily)
4: use the Cobra/Z-10/MI-28 missiles (either the gunner seat's one (one shot kill) or the drivers one (can kill it with only one reload if you know how to aim))
5: kamikazee in them (only if you have no other choice
6: stingers! yes, they can help! if you just lock on and wait until the guy drops his flares to shoot, you can easily land 1 or 2 shots on him, or at least piss him off and/or scare him (both resulting in him going away)
last but most effective tactic:
8: teamwork!!! for instance, 3 guys with at rockets, a few snipers, a few vehicle MG, 1 or 2 aircrafts, an attack helo with a gunner and a pilot actually working together, etc.

There are many other, but these are some of the most effective.

no all they need to do is limit the BH to 4 sets flares... this way at least they have to land and get they supply guy out to reload the flares....

No, the flares are fine. There needs to be no repairing blackhawks in flight. They need to code in that BH's can only be repaird from outside the vehicle. Also an unlockable stinger launcher for the AT kit would be nice.

To me I enjoy the squad combat and the tank/helicopter/jet part less. The thought I had was why don't they allow the admin to vary the respawn rates for the vehicles?

2A: if you dont have the M-95: snipe the gunners/engis/otherguys in there and you will get tons of kills. - Have fun trying to do this with the POS sniper rifles and without getting fried by the BH lasers of death
2B: kill everyone in the BH with any hand-held gun - You're kidding right? if anybody behind the lasers of death lets you get this close they are just total noobs
3: use jet's MG (if you know how to use it, you can kill a BH in 1 or 2 pass, especially if you kill the engies, wich you should be able to do easily) - only 2 jets per round usually, and this is no help to the average grunt
4: use the Cobra/Z-10/MI-28 missiles (either the gunner seat's one (one shot kill) or the drivers one (can kill it with only one reload if you know how to aim))-Hope you can actually get the heli in this case
5: kamikazee in them (only if you have no other choice) - Real viable option there
6: stingers! yes, they can help! if you just lock on and wait until the guy drops his flares to shoot, you can easily land 1 or 2 shots on him, or at least piss him off and/or scare him (both resulting in him going away) - rarely you actually hit him, and lucky if you dont end up hitting a friendly instead
last but most effective tactic:

BH needs to be nerfed somehow, tanks though, I have no problem with.
