Effective ways to destroy a BH-whore:
1: machine-gun them to death - Yeah, good luck with that
2:snipe the driver (if you got the M-95) - maybe if you get lucky, hardly dependable solution
2A: if you dont have the M-95: snipe the gunners/engis/otherguys in there and you will get tons of kills. - Have fun trying to do this with the POS sniper rifles and without getting fried by the BH lasers of death
2B: kill everyone in the BH with any hand-held gun - You're kidding right? if anybody behind the lasers of death lets you get this close they are just total noobs
3: use jet's MG (if you know how to use it, you can kill a BH in 1 or 2 pass, especially if you kill the engies, wich you should be able to do easily) - only 2 jets per round usually, and this is no help to the average grunt
4: use the Cobra/Z-10/MI-28 missiles (either the gunner seat's one (one shot kill) or the drivers one (can kill it with only one reload if you know how to aim))-Hope you can actually get the heli in this case
5: kamikazee in them (only if you have no other choice) - Real viable option there
6: stingers! yes, they can help! if you just lock on and wait until the guy drops his flares to shoot, you can easily land 1 or 2 shots on him, or at least piss him off and/or scare him (both resulting in him going away) - rarely you actually hit him, and lucky if you dont end up hitting a friendly instead
last but most effective tactic:
8: teamwork!!! for instance, 3 guys with at rockets, a few snipers, a few vehicle MG, 1 or 2 aircrafts, an attack helo with a gunner and a pilot actually working together, etc. - not happening in a pub, dont know where you play

Did you just want the kill handed to you? Work for it lazy ass. If "Blackhawk Whoring" is occuring in pubs you play in, then that means that teamwork is present in pubs you play in. If you can't coordinate with ONE other person to get shots into that hawk to destroy or deter it, that does not mean they should change the game because you choose bad servers to play on.

Are you serious? Gun #2 every single vodnik, humvee, heavy tank, or dpv MOWS down that chopper. Try having *gasp* two people doing this, and bye bye blackhawk. You don't need "good luck" with that, you need practice.

You *may* have heard about this stuff called "cover", and some other stuff called "concealment". Essentially, these two things get you out of the wide open areas where its easy to spot you. As a hawk gunner, I can assure you that its impossible to find every little snuggled in sniper, gunner, apc, or anything.

Are you serious? Try getting good at a jet then. If the jets aren't taking out choppers, try that "communication" stuff I keep hearing about. You can even put the chopper on the map, and ANY decent pilot will swoon at the 6 kills they'll get.

Yes it does work, one death=6 kills. Instead of posting here, go practice it in single player.

So we should base the whole potential of the game on the lowest common denominator of teamwork nublets? If you use half the teamwork use bythat team in the hawk, you WILL bring it down. Teamwork = the biggest thing in this game, and if it isn't present on the server you play on, you need to find another one instead of asking EA to change the game to give you a "pwn button".
