not to be a party pooper but why play battlefield 2 with infantry only? there are already maps that rely heavily on infantry based combat but alltogether removing the vehicles in ALL the maps makes the game boring imho.
go play CS or rainbow 6 or whatever if you want infantry based combat.

how to kill a tank; 3 anti tank rockets or 3 c4s or grab another tank or grab a helo and fire or better yet. USE MINES!
how to kill the blackhawk; 4 man anti tank squad, suicide jet/helo, grab a jeep and fire, grab AA vehicle and fire, use the AA sites.

its really not hard to take down vehicles.

The problem with jets is not the jets themselves, it is the completely ineffectual stingers.

Turn and burn and you don't have to fear a stinger, you don't even have to use flares.

Solution = Force all air vehicles to land for all reloads. Let them all keep their unlimted countermeasures, but in the long run, you should see them less often since they would be delayed landing and reloading.

I am a helo pilot in the game, so in all honesty, no. I am going to assume from your reply to me that you are a fighter pilot. I am going to ask you in all honesty if you feel you can reload quite easily and fly off to continue the spam? I personally know you can since I have flown jets in the game, I just don't favor them over a helo.

I feel either some coding needs to be changed to figure out how to make you land and take off better or they need to make the Stinger faster to chase jets down, but this will be an utter nightmare for a helo pilot like myself.

A third solution would be to slow all jets somewhat making it possible for a Stinger missle to catch up to it. Right now as it is, jets are too fast and disappears out of the line of sight of auto lock hence losing lock on to have any effect on them.

I think jets should have to land, and then have the pilot type in a difficult 25 character string in less than 3 seconds to have to reload. Choppers shouldn't be able to be repaired at all, should have to land upside down on their rotor to cap, and make it so only pistols can be shot out of the side.

I think that all tanks should start off at 1% health to make it fair for everyone who chooses to go assault when they know a tank is coming. I think that all jeeps should only be able to drive about 400 feet and then run out of gas, cause its ridiculous how many people use them and go capture flags.

I am so sick of actually having to think about how to take down a chopper, and ULTRA sick of trying to get my teammates to use as much teamwork to bring it donw as the hawk crew is using to keep it up. I am so fed up with how cheap it is when someone is in a concealed position and i can't find them, there should be a huge arrow to show me where to go get my pwn on.

I was actually disappointed how BH can capture flags. First i was soooooo excited how squads can be transported to flag and then they DISEMBARK from BH and take the flag while Black Hawk gives support fire. Blah, nice wet dreams i had, reality is much worst. Now they just fly from flag to flag. Thats why i hope they change that BH can't capture flags, it's should be transport helicopter not a badassmeandrillerkillerholocaust machine from hell.
