Tired of BH Whores? Tank whores?

I got just the thing for you! Heh, I found a handy mod that removes all the vehicles (except boats on those with water). Theres even a dedicated server that runs it! I'm in the process of downloading it now, so I can't really tell you how good it is, but I thought it might be worth a try.

there is one reason why almost noone fly around in blackhawk gunning down ppl in operation flashpoint ->> portable AA (Stinger/Strela)...and there are no flares there but experienced pilots know how to fly in order to avoid AA, however, gunner won't be able to kill anyone.....bf2 needs new class for that :laugh:

no all they need to do is limit the BH to 4 sets flares... this way at least they have to land and get they supply guy out to reload the flares.... Same with jets

This isn't a discussion about how to kill blackhawks... >.< I was just posting a nifty mod I found, that lets you fight in infantry combat, without dozens of vehicles

Yep yep.. I'm having to download it on 56k (ISDN is out, go me), so its taking a long while. I think it sounds promising myself, especially in maps like Strike at Karkand.

I was actually disappointed how BH can capture flags. First i was soooooo excited how squads can be transported to flag and then they DISEMBARK from BH and take the flag while Black Hawk gives support fire. Blah, nice wet dreams i had, reality is much worst. Now they just fly from flag to flag. Thats why i hope they change that BH can't capture flags, it's should be transport helicopter not a badassmeandrillerkillerholocaust machine from hell.

Jets and Helos should have to land fully to reload. That would stop this constant spam bombing that exists in the game.

While copters are easy to fly with a mouse, jets are not and those that have gone out of there way to get a joystick for them have also mastered how to reload fast at the airfields which equals base whoring and continual bomb spam.

Solution = Force all air vehicles to land for all reloads. Let them all keep their unlimted countermeasures, but in the long run, you should see them less often since they would be delayed landing and reloading.

Of course I am tired of the tank whores, I only use a vehicle mainyl to get from point a to point b. It takes less skill right off the bat to get in and whore over a base, but once you get to the level where you can defeat them as easily WITHOUT a vehicle than they can when they HAVE one then you will feel all the more better. Just practice, they can only get so good with vehicles.

I completely agree the bombing runs in the game are extremely annoying. It's a constant barrage between that and arty all of the time on some maps. Especially when there is one spawn point left.

But, I'll jump in an APC or tank whenever I can. If I don't, the other guy will and I'm gone. I don't try to stay in a tank the whole game though. I usually go Spec. Ops since no other class in the game that has a decent gun <b>and</b> can take out vehicles.
