They are really acurate at Close-Medium range, instead of complaining about them, why don't you get closer to your target or don't even waste your ammo at long ranges. They made the weapons like they are so people aren't dying from across the map in one shot. I'm gonna get flamed b/c I'm the only person in the world that doesn't complain bout the snipers so here we go :cry:

I agree there's really no point to the class, but the weapons are fine. I think what they should have done is: when your a sniper you have a better view of the battlefield, so if you spot an enemy vehicle or infantry, and then they get killed, you should get a kill assist for it. That would give you team points...and it makes sense.

Sniper is a very useful class. The problem is that most people don't use REAL team work. If you have a squad of 6 people who all know eachother, and have "trained" a bit in teamwork and strategy, you can do killer. The sniper can hide in the trees and scope out bases for a squad, spotting whoever he can. Then the squad can run from cover to cover, staying hidden, eventually hiding inside the base. Then all at once they throw some smokes and pop out and kill everyone, and take the base, :). Alll because of the sniper lol.

That is too easy, I spot everything enemy I see no matter what class I play on sight.

first off, nobody's gonna say nothin' bout you - your avatar shows that you're our medic! :p

but yeah, I can see how you said like being shot from across the map would totally suck, but the situation would have to be EA making a patch or something for a one-shot kill sniper rifle, unlike the ones now that take 2 to 3 shots unless you get em in the head. Always be thankful for what you've got, so shut up and make the best of it! Imagine if BF2 didn't give you the option for a sniper rifle at all! hehehe

You can't tell me that lamers who run into your claymores don't drive you up the ****ing wall. That's my biggest irk w/ the sniper class right now. If EA finds a way to fix that I'll be a happy camper. Haha camper... haa hahahaha aaahhh..... ehhhh.....

the sniper is essential and useful, being anti-tank most of the time me and my friend team up, him being a sniper takes out the distant targets and i get the tanks, works great.

Also i don't understand the problem most people have with the m95 i love it.

Not always. From my personal experience most people do not know how to respond and hit the deck leaving themselves just a laying target. Hint from a sniper... Don't hit the deck...

The semi-auto snipers (SVD, Type 88) are fine at close/medium ranges even against multiple enemies. You just fire quickly and switch between the greatest threat to the least. Just don't go one-on-one at point blank range. Your better off with your pistol and that just sucks, especially if the guy has his M-203 ready for you.
