Well i dont think owning a vechical is actualy a good idea becouse then on city maps one squad will say own the tank and they'll rack up so many kills and points . No one else will get a chance . But what might be a good idea is some kind of queing system on vehicals so the same dam arse dos'nt get it all the time you run up to a spot then your in the que and stay in the que untill you leave a certain area. The reason i sugested this is becouse so many people die then respawn at the exact same place and nick the vehical even if people have been waiting for a turn . This actualy happend to me yesterdy with the cobra on kubra dam some ****ing arse hole kept takeing it even though i kept asking for a go he just ignored me . And i was like mate ive paid just as much for this game as you take your turn man . The guy was actualy a good flyer ill give him that but i do consider myelf a good flyer aswell . But just becouse someone is good does not give them devine right to fly we HAVE ALL PAID for this game (or mumy & daddy has in some cases) . I just honestly beleave there should be a queing system of some kind for freshly spawnd vehicals this will stop lots of tking when people get realy pissed becouse they've waited 10 minutes for a go in a vehical and the same twat dies and respawns tks you and then nicks it. Or if your like me you get feedup of that spawn as SF put c4 on the vehical and blow the ****ers up

Did you people miss the part where I said that my idea for Vehicle ownership only applies if you are sitting in the pilot/driver seat? Once you get out, it's a free for all.

So how do you combat all the people that come up and gank the chopper or vehicle while you're on the pad waiting for it???

There's no locks or keys on a military hummer, just a battery and ignition switch. Anyone can take it.

Sorry. That Planetside stuff will never work in this game of limited vehicles.

In Planetside, everyone certed for some type of vehicle gets one of their own. In this game we are not as fortunate. Never going to happen.

Or possibly do what they have do for the commander? Everyone can get in but somebody with a higher rank can jump in the driver seat, maybe a 10 second limit to a higher rank taking charge of the vehicle?

Yeah - locking the vehicle so only you could use it would be a horrible idea. i see what you're saying, though - that once you're in the driver's seat the vehicle is locked, so that only the people you want can get in...i don't like that idea either, though. anyone who wants a ride should be able to get one.

a vehicle queuing system might not be such a bad idea...where you leave the queue if you leave the spawn point, otherwise people would hop in the queue, then jump in a jeep and run off to join the battle, and be halfway across the map when it's finally their turn in the queue. eh, it's probably just best to leave it the way it is.

why did you let him keep taking it? weren't you waiting there when the chopper spawned? just stand where the chopper's going to spawn and hold down "e." you would have gotten it one of those times.

no - anything besides commander being based on rank would be retarded. some of us have jobs, we're married, we're in school, or just don't want to play the 16 hours per day that some pasty-faced sunlight-deprived kids who are flirting with rickets like to play. i might be just as good as - or better than - most corporals out there, but i won't be hitting that rank anytime soon because i don't have enough time to play.
