In the future, if you really are concerned about "exposing security holes" to EA (which I sincerely doubt) rather than grandstanding, please e-mail me personally since it appears that you don't have the correct contact info. I will PM you the address.

All of the changes made will be rolled back in the next couple hours. Users may have to rechoose any unlocks they would have legitimately made in the last day or so as a result of the roll-back, but no stats should be lost.

I think they should allow you to unlock every weapon once you reach Corporal, or maybe even Lance Corp. When I got LC, I unlocked the M95 (50 cal sniper rifle), and it was so terrible I thought about deleting my account. I didn't, but that means I have to hit 10,000+ points to get just one more weapon.

IMHO, this will cut down on stat cheaters. With all my weapons unlocked, I wasn't worried about points. I just wanted to have fun...and in the process I upped my star count considerably

It's the fact that someone reported the security hole and nobody answered so the only way to make attention is to change accounts so they finally listen ! It's way better than leaving the hole and wait for someone that (maybe) erase all of the accounts or hack, whatever ... I'm actually glad they did.

Like hell. The fact that multiple people have sent in emails to EA that haven't been responded to, I think it's safe to say that EA got owned on this one. It shouldn't matter where the emails are sent so long as people are reading them. If EA's support gets a massive influx of emails, it shouldn't take a rocket science to say "Hey, there may be something wrong with the unlocks," but apparently since Die didn't get an email, it wasn't an issue.

Thats a bunch of ****, they did it for ego and attention. If you really wanted to get a hold of them you would call them. I called and got through to the head of the BFHQ team's voicemail for other issues. I would've gotten to talk to him but he was out of town at the time. There's no excuse for the **** unless other methods have been exhausted.
