Jet Pricks... grow up already!

My very favorite solution is to switch to the other team, get a jet and shoot that tking enemy pilot's DOWN.

I did that the other day when the entire team seemed determined to tk me for the jet.

After I shot him down, I had the pleasure of reading complaints typed:

"OMG!! I CANT FLY NOW!! WTF?!" etc. Probably because he was losing it emotionally and flew in a straight line while my missiles ran straight in.

I have had this happen alot. I simply return the Tk for Tk. I simply punish em all now. Let the kicking and banning begin I say. If no one wants to play nicely and allow the first man at the jet to fly it then I say all needs to be thrown out for a round or two.

Regarding the childish "OMG! the JET IS MINE!!" and related outbursts.. I say go away and play in the nursery until you grow up.

I am awaiting with great eagerness for the upcoming EA patch that should settle this issue once and for all.

well I have been on the other side of the fence and am sick of waiting for helo/jets for 10 minutes then when it appears the people that just died in the jet to allow it to respawn grab it and take off and there goes 10 minuntes of my time. I dont get my self tked but it still annoys me.

You are a waste of space if you stand around waiting for aircraft. I hate it when six or seven people stand around waiting for an aircraft. The team is out there fighting and you're standing around waiting. If you think that you're that great of pilot and you have to fly some sort aircraft or it's the end of the world, do us all a favor: GO PLAY SINGLE PLAYER AND YOU CAN FLY ALL YOU WANT!!! Don't stand around with you thumb up your a** and take up space on a server. There are lots of other people who would like get in the server and play. Life isn't fair, so stop crying and get over it.

When I'm in a crashin... err.. flying mood, I'll spawn at the airfield and hope I can get in to a jet / chopper the next time it comes up. I'll wait a minute or two, and if it appears - good. If not, I walk my happy ass in to combat. If there is already a person or two there waiting their turn, I'll walk my happy ass in to combat. WHEN I die (not if ), I'll spawn again at the airfield.. If someone was waiting on my jet / chopper, I'll go fight on foot. I'm not doing my team any good by camping out with half a dozen other guys waiting on a plane, and we're probably a juicy arty target too.

What does make me mad is when I'm the only person waiting on a jet / chopper and 3 or 4 other people turn up. Instead of going in to combat themselves, they'll stand around and wait. I usually stand off to the side of the hanger or whatever, but they'll go to the middle in hopes of getting the jet the instant it appears... kinda cutting in front of me in line. Pretty rude if you ask me. In that case, again, I'll walk my happy ass in to combat.

Dude, you got the right additude. Yeah, it's rude if someone cuts in front of you, but I'm just like you. Go out on foot and kick some a**!

There was one time around a chopper spawnpoint, me and two other guys waiting for the chopper. It appears, and me and one of the other guys jumps in. I'm gunner, and the pilot is mashing the Bail Out key. I replied with my own mashing of the Negative, No Can Do key. This goes on for a good 45 seconds. He then starts typing, let my buddy in to fly with me. I said no, fly the damn chopper, I know how to shoot this gun. He said he wasn't gonna move until his buddy was in there. His buddy was standing right in front of the chopper waiting. So I shot him. Then I told the pilot, "now fly", so he took off and slammed us into a mountainside. It was great. What a whiny bunch of babies. Public servers are just that, public.

Haha got the same experience some 10 min ago. Jump into a occupied plane so I'm the co-pilot but he keeps with his "bail out" for his friend, of course after 1 min he takes off do everything to be locked on by a missile and jump out right before we got hit.

Me dead, plane also but pilot is still in middle of ocean so I took the plane when it respawned and the other "friend" (who whas supposed to take my place) jumps in, I make a little ride to end very high above our base and take the plunge, jumped out right before it hit the ground so the guy got killed and I was alive ready to take the next spawning plane ... man, his was so pissed lol.

I like egoist players so I can teach them a lesson :)

So I go and join a Pub ranked server, like always...I perfer the Med size maps because they allow for more aircraft w/o a lot of lag and/or time spent traversing the map...

ANYWAY, I go to fly one of the jets (been practicing :hmm: ) and I sprint to the runway and hop in my plane...then just as I begin to go, another player runs out on the runway and refuses to move because "he was here first and he wants to fly!"

so of course I take off anyway, and get punished...(OF COURSE ) and this happens a few more times until I get kicked...

this is a really serious problem for me, because I dont have much time to play this game, and when I do I really dont want to have to deal with this ****...

I agree with you, but seriously I wish people would stop making topics like these. Its never going to stop, and theres nothing to do that can put a stop to it. Making topics like these only leads to more flaming, and seriously theres nothing anyone can do to help it. There are too many topics like these every day, and its growing old. Just learn to get used to it.

I run their asses over and tell them to have fun waiting for this jet. After about 10 minutes of seeing me fly by to reload, they leave the runway. I have very little time to play so I don't have time to play that game with them, besides, I'll more than make up for my minus score by the end of the map.

Sometimes they switch teams and get up in the air. Nothing like shooting them down, then heading straight to their runway and dropping a bomb on their mullet as they wait for the jet to spawn again. Do this a few times, and they don't bother any more.

I had on little ass that would give me one hit with the antitank as soon as i would take off. Then i'd come back for repairs and he'd hit me again. I was pissed to say the least. I hopped out and frag his ass and I get kicked. Grow up you morons

yesterday i saw about 7 guys waiting, each one was ready to pounce on the other to get the jet first, and when the jet did re-spawn, while they were all fighting and trying to get the best of each other, i just flew of in the jet...Stupid people, happens everytime i go to the jets.

If I see that I try to switch to the other team, you know, the one that is going to win...

Personally I mostly play as a grunt. Nobody ever wants to steal my boots...

i think threads like this are funny. Lets u know how stupid some ppl are and the lengths they will go to to fly a plane. I got banned from a server earlier. I was commander and queued and art strike. A chopper with 6 teamates init decides to fly into the middle ang gets killed. They all punish and i get banned oh what fun.

U can do the vehicle kill thing like on halo if someones really annoying u. Drive a jeep full speed and jump out before u hit them and it doesnt register as a tk
